Taking absolutely nothing away from that goal but how on earth was Muirhead played onside? McLean was able to see Muirhead unmarked in the middle and with seven or eight yards to work with. But again, taking nothing away from it - McLean still had to pick out that 50 yard ball, which he did, and Muirhead still had it all to do. Good first touch and a lovely, lovely chip into the corner.

🤣

"Maybe this manager's told the players what they need to hear and not what they want to hear." - Andy Ritchie, January 2022.

I think that's absolutely correct.

Blues MOTM for me, he's dropped back a bit in the second half, which was needed. You could make a case for Strapp, Lyon, Reilly, McLean... but Blues edges it imo.

Glad we've went out with the intention of making it a pumping and not resting on a comfy win. Well worth the scoreline.

Peter Weatherson is the greatest player since Ritchie, and should be assigned 'chairman for life'

This is our first home win in the league since March 2020, with 12 winless games between now and then. (Oddly enough we have a good home cup record, and of course those playoff wins.)

Got to fancy our chances of at least keeping it competitive at Somerset. But it's three weeks before we'll have another home league game, against Raith.

The last two games at Cappielow have both ended in five goal margins. Lost 6-1 to ICT, now SWORDING Dunfermline 5-0.
