McAdams banned for two games for throwing toilet roll at fans in Kilmarnock game. Imagine it starts on Saturday.

Can see it being less than 1000 tomorrow due to the current situation. Depending on the result I can see gus being absolutely hounded and rightly so fans need to voice it very loudly so the board can hear how much we actually give a fuck about the club and want it to do well and not going just to accept how shite we currently are and will be for the foreseeable future with that clown in charge.

Morton vs Ayr United | Match Preview - Greenock Morton FC (gmfc.net)

Gus, to his credit, finally acknowledges that Wednesday wasn't a good enough performance.

Then he starts whining about away fixtures but, again, to his credit admits our home form is even worse.

Says we need belief within the group to be more consistent and that confidence needs to be consistent.

Then a not-at-all staged question about bringing the youth through and how that's part of his remit. Fair enough, I'm sure it is. TBH there's not a huge amount to dispute here as I am certain it's part of his job to keep a small senior squad and to blood the young players.

Then blah blah injuries blah blah whatever. McLean injured, Allan suspended. Knowles out long-term.

As Gus interviews go this one doesn't have me throwing my mug at the wall so it's a definite improvement on the usual, but at some point we need results.

I think it’ll be very, very toxic if we somehow lose this, probably even if we draw too. If we’re not capable of getting results against any of the teams around us, what on earth’s the point in persisting?

Tombola selection again then. Be interested to know if other teams in the division chop and change their team so much every week.

I'd guess that's:

Hamilton

Hynes - Ledger - McEntee - Strapp

Muirhead - Blues - Oksanen - Russell

Ugwu - Reilly

If it's not that then it's the return of the back three which no one wanted.

Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake

Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake

Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake

Oh Lord, Brian Wake

In fairness that was an absolutely brilliant strike from the Ayr lad, but this is what happens when you don't kill off the game when you're in the ascendency. Plus was Hamilton too far off his line?

We drop back to joint last as Hamilton take the lead over Dunfermline.
