ChampTon
Is it possible to turn up at the ground tomorrow and buy a ticket? Looked on the club site but couldn't see it anywhere obvious.

Mate of mine picked his up there on the way to the game a few weeks ago to avoid queuing at Cappielow.

RossMcC1874
I purchased a ticket online for this for the cowshed the payment went through and the money has been taken off but when I went to the website it says I have no purchase history and there is no way to obtain an e ticket.

TONofmemories
Shite patter that. There's an entire stand behind the goal.... TIME FOR CHANGE!

irnbru
Doesn't really bother me. People wanted the fence back up for years and the atmosphere was better then the split was down the middle of the stairs. Should have said before punting tickets though.
port-ton
Don't really mind half the cowshed being given to them tbh. Crowds haven't been great so having the morton fans more cramped together with killie fans beside us will hopefully create a better atmosphere. Good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things, but only with religion do good people do bad things!
vikingTON
The Cowshed should be reserved exclusively for Morton fans rather than those peasants or 'Partick Thistle' fans either. That's the WDE in November is for. The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..  So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

Killie fan at work got a club update at lunchtime saying they were getting none of the Cowshed. Wonder why there’s been a change? McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up. Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control... That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie. helensburghton
I used to love the Killie games in the late 70s early 80s with the Cowshed packed to the rafters midweek. Cracking atmosphere, but there was always trouble, bus windows panned in on a regular basis. Killie used to wear thinner hoops than what we had in these days I paritcularly remember Derek McDicken for Killie, a no nonsense player , these were happy days, we saw out a cracker of a league cup game in the second leg after being down 2-0 at Rugby Park, and they had a goal disallowed early on the game. Anyone else recollect this game?

Anyone else recollect this game? I remember a League Cup second leg against Killie when we won it , I think 5-2 in extra time so that would fit with a 2-0 first leg deficit. Neil Orr scored at the WDE to equalise on aggregate and Ritchie IIRC scored the winner then ran over to taunt the Killie fans with, shall we say, a simulation of an onanistic act. Place was jumping. Derek McDicken was a thug, a sort of Jim Goodwin type of player. "Any nation given the opportunity to regain its national sovereignty and which then rejects it is so far beneath contempt that it is hard to put words to it." AyrshireTon
Ritchie taunted the away fans in the 3-2 game in 79. Big man confirmed this on Twitter as the Killie fans had been winding him up throughout the match. We then lost the away leg 3-2 but won on penalties. The 5-2 game (which I wish I’d seen) was in 78 when we wore the tangerine kit. McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up. Killie are hardly a total-football juggernaut this season but I suspect wee Jaako's absence just makes us more likely to hump aimless balls at Ugwu until we get puffed out. ChampTon
Decided against going today. £20 at this time of the year (plus travel and the rest) and missing our two best players just fills me with dread.  Would rather be sitting at home in all honesty. Hope I am made to regret this decision though!
Nornirontons
Looking forward to this. Back for another game though in all truth this was first game I looked for when fixtures came out. "Singing were no the Killie" and "Ido like to be beside the sea side"...classics that have been missed at cappielow for to many years and will be great to hear them once more!! Don't usually care about up or down votes but a rather odd post to have something against lads. I think debating whether or not spending £30 quid on a ticket and train travel before any pints and food is consumed is a reasonable thought process? I'm surprised you two are continuously attending whilst you're frothing at the mouth for a statement regarding Alan Lithgow.
