I have had a big issue with how Morton like a lot of teams managers that seem to think we’ve players the calibre of the English Premier League that can chop and change starting eleven.  In this league  it’s not rocket science get the backbone right then pick best of the rest to get to your best 11 and stick with it unless injury or suspension. If the manager does not do this then the board are there to adjust his views. One forgets, we are paying his wages. If he doesn’t like it he can always walk. Simple.

So the board should tell him who to pick and where to play them or he should walk is that what your saying.

That should never happen even given that gus has been a complete failure the correct action is to fire him not to interfere in the team selections or in your words adjust his views.

There’s nothing wrong with rotation at this level and a bit of flexibility, but only if it’s actually underpinned by decent coaching and players have some semblance of an idea of what the system is and what they're supposed to be doing in it.

Absolutely right. He's been brought in for his football expertise - something the Board, as they freely admit, do not have. He's been tasked with getting us to 8th place at least. With just one win all season so far and an alarming lack of goals in the side, we're not looking like getting it, sitting 9th with just eight goals to our name. Dunfermline will surely improve with their own change of manager, endangering us further. Rather than sitting there with a blackboard and a pointer teaching Gus how to manage, the Board's responsibility is instead to give him his jotters and get someone in who can work with the squad.
