We have pretty much transformed the squad! There’s no way We could have expected all the players to gel instantly. I can see a gradual improvement and progression, and believe We’ll soon start to grow in confidence and pick up points. There are at least three Championship teams who should have bigger concerns than Us, as We’re moving (albiet slowly) in the right direction.

Thanks for joining the forum Gus; your contribution has been filed in the bin where it belongs.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

Where exactly is the gradual improvement and who are the teams who should have bigger concerns than us?

There's a storm on the horizon

And for that I can't see the sun

For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement

For the ice cream van to come

I’d assume he means Ayr, Dunfermline and Hamilton. To be honest, if I supported any of those three teams the consolation I’d be taking from their poor start to the season would be that Morton are also in the division and should be an easy enough target to finish above.

Only Dunfermline can realistically be looked at as more of a basket case, but you’d expect an improvement there once Grant is emptied. My hope to keep our heads above water is that they have a season like Falkirk did in 2019, and we manage to scramble just enough points to finish above them.

I don’t imagine the play-offs to be quite as routine this time around though if we do scrape 9th.

Highlights up on youtube now. No surprise that the stand pillars almost block the view of the penalty incident. Still think Mcantee leads with his elbow as I did at the time but would have liked an unrestricted view to make things clearer.

Do we just have a single camera now? Last season’s set up with 2 cameras to avoid the pillars was a bit disorientating at times but the current set up is pretty poor. Need to get it set up further forward, i.e. right at the front of the directors’ box, so that the pillars are not as close to blocking the view so close to goal.

Aye, expect that was the 3 he meant. Wild to state all 3 should have bigger concerns than us.

Hamilton and Ayr have started the find a few wins while only us and Dunfermline still aren't doing that.

Both of us still have the managerial change to play but I expect they will be in a far better position to do that than us.

Happy to see Grant clinging on for a bit yet. Did like QOS firing shots at him after their win on Sat.

Yes that was the three I meant. I would say they’d be thinking similarly to us that the other three could be our potential saviours by ending up worse than us. We had the biggest re-building job of the four so were always going to need time to gel. Saturday was encouraging as we were robbed of 3 points against the form side of the division.

I don't care if they are the form side, Arbroath minus their best players should never be our benchmark. Has Gus appointed you as his marketing agent?

Just giving my opinion like everyone else. I’m by means entirely contented with our performances, but can see signs we’re starting to realise we need to play through our midfield instead of just lumping it upfield.
