so72
Moving on from the issues - Good luck to the young lads tonight. Happier for it to go ahead and them get a chance. Pish we can't give Chris Millar a send off or give the young boys our support.
Jamie_M
Just the 3 ex-Morton players in the EK starting lineup, another on the bench and another in the dugout...

AyrshireTon
That looked a penalty. McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up. Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control... That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie. TheGoon
Wee Garrity hasn’t looked out of place at all.
port-ton
Been impressed with Garrity. hope he sees more game time this season. Mcgregor on the right wing has been decent as well. Can't ask for much more from a 17 year old making his debut. Alex King had a few nice touches in Central midfield as well. 16 years old on his debut competing against veterans like Chris Millar. Well done lads. Our centre backs have strolled it so far which is promising as well and Hamilton in goal has done what's asked of him. Muirhead continues to be unable to pass a football 5 yards to an open man so it looks like his summer transition in to prime Zlatan isn't going to happen. Good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things, but only with religion do good people do bad things!
Stevie Aitken's Love Child
Never thought we'd have to witness Robbie Muirhead at left back ever again, but I guess needs must tonight. As others have said, Garrity looks a player, so comfortable on the ball, and for a 16 year old, King in midfield has been excellent. Ugwu has been holding the ball up really well, once everyone is available I can see him being an integral part of that team.

Yellow strip with the sponsor changed - thought we weren't using that one this season? The strips must not be ready for the first team as well as the fans. Bit of a riddy. Regardless need a positive result here, the games aren't going to get easier. Peter Weatherson is the greatest player since Ritchie, and should be assigned 'chairman for life'
Stevie Aitken's Love Child
Good to see not a single top knot or pony tail in a Morton team again after last season when we had 4 at times.
AyrshireTon
Referee evens it up - they should have had a penalty there. Edit - nah. They guy turned himself and slipped. McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up. Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control... That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. port-ton
One of the worst decisions I've ever seen haha. Stonewall penalty right in front of the ref. port-ton
If you told me that one of our fullbacks was a 17 year old making his debut and one was a player with multiple big moves in his career then you'd think it was Muirhead making his debut. Good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things, but only with religion do good people do bad things!
AyrshireTon
Our corners and free kicks have been terrible. McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up. Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control... That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. port-ton
75 mins in and Mcgregor is still bombing up and down the wing and spraying passes like Pirlo. No reason he shouldn't be in and around the squad this season. Good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things, but only with religion do good people do bad things! AyrshireTon
Their right back has strolled this. McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up.
