There'd be something quite fitting about the Rae era ending with being consigned to the third tier by Airdrie, when the 03/04 season was the first big scandal of their tenure which sowed the seeds of so much of the gross incompetence which followed.

However it would be far more fitting to get it right up Airdrie for the nth time.
