Match Preview/Thread - Arbroath vs Morton (Championship 30th April)

We currently need to score a goal and Gaston hasn't had a save to make. For all that was not bad in terms of a performance in this game alone our chronic failings going forward are costing us.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

For all that we've clearly been the better side it's just the age-old problem of not testing the 'keeper. And it's not that we haven't been spending time in the Arbroath box. I know it's a yer da thing to say but eventually someone's gonnae huv tae huv a dig.

Correct decision from Fjortoft there to hoof it out of McAdams' hands. (I realize this looks like sarcasm but it's not, it was absolutely correct.)

Just remembered why I thought that: coz West Brom gave away a last-minute goal from almost that exact scenario in their (essentially) relegation decider against Villa midweek. It would be the most sickening way to get relegated and I'm glad we didn't suffer that same fate.

As expected not much football to talk about, almost as brutal as the commentary. Up front Oliver is holding the ball up well but anyone's guess as to where a goal will come from - we need Gaston to throw one in to the net and run outside the stadium to celebrate with the Morton fans.

Their raffle prize is some meat? Is this a football match or a scheme pub?

(If it's a scheme pub I hearily approve.)

It's fairmer country, the steaks will be ace.

This gimp on commentary.

I'm sure the steaks are fine, they're dry-aged, which is usually better than wet-aged.

Fucking screaming* at that yellow card graphic.

*I mean not really.

Pissing myself at that too.
