Pars 1-0 Arbroath

McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up.
Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control...

That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie.

2-0.

That's a nice move from Strapp with the cut back. Neither defence looking particularly clever so far here, both sides have had some questionable moments letting long balls run through.

Get Orsi off.

We'd be better off with Adam Coakley or Jonathan Toto up there. He can't do anything right.

This result, coupled with Hearts being 2 up on Caley will mean Caley have nothing to play for against Ayr next week.

It moves Arbroath onto a -9 goal difference. We remain on -11. Could do with the Pars getting three more goals since clearly we're not going to score any between now and August.

If Arbroath lose today, there's no scenario where we can finish on the same points as them, making said goal difference irrelevant.

Oh aye. I miscounted. Thought we'd both end today on 29 if we drew and they lost.

Well I hope they get thumped anyway because Dick "Dick" Campbell gets on my tits.

See that Dick Campbell, man?

Starting to come around to VT's way of thinking. If we went into a professional season thinking we could stay up without scoring goals, well, there's only one outcome.

Time to dig out the bucket and spade.

Nicky low playing for Arbroath?is that the same Nicky low from Greenock?

There's a storm on the horizon

And for that I can't see the sun

For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement

For the ice cream van to come

Yeah, he's on loan from East Stirling.
