Not been a more Morton result all season. The boys put so much into that and came away with fuck all but, carry that into the last 4 games and hopefully the bigger task will be complete.

Just noticed Easdale came on. Who knew?

Says a lot for Johnson and sterling if they can't even get on the bench tonight.

There's a storm on the horizon

And for that I can't see the sun

For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement

For the ice cream van to come

Leighton Baines took Everton's penaltyies for years and did alright. It's really got very little to do with position.

Graham Alexander scored a fair few penalties in his playing career as well.

Sergio Ramos hits a pretty good penalty. Loads of defenders do.

Rogerio Ceni took Sao Paulo's penalties for 18 seasons. He was a goalkeeper.

Johnson hasn't really been seen since the new manager came in. Neither has Salkeld.

File them under Jamie Butler.

Gus has made no secret of the fact that he thinks the squad is too big. He probably has his chosen players already and is phasing the other ones out. Perhaps with an eye to getting the job permanently? Hence putting in guys like Hynes and McGrattan in preparation for getting rid of some of the older players.

The difference in the last couple of games with the switch to the back four is massive. If we can reproduce that performance over the next three games it'd surely give us the wins we need to survive.
