4-2-3-1 with Jacobs at right back, Lyon & McAlister sitting, Orsi up front? Still three centre backs with McAlister back there and Salkeld on the right, with Jacobs and Lyon in the middle and a front three of Muirhead, McPake and Orsi? Something else no one could guess?

Could be a typical caretaker manager type flat 4-4-2. Who knows.

Incredibly daft and reactionary take to assume he's  been dropped for that. He's hardly Alessandro Nesta, is he?

The fitness coach guy is one of Hopkin's appointees anyway and is likely disappointed by the situation as well, so the conspiracy doesn't even make sense.

Chris Dodds from the Tele suggesting it's Strapp at centre back with Muirhead on the left, which would be the most ridiculous thing which has happened to the club this week.

Is there a footballing reason for dropping our best player this season?

Peter Weatherson is the greatest player since Ritchie, and should be assigned 'chairman for life'

A goal.

A real actual goal!

McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up.
Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control...

That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie.

AN OPEN PLAY GOAL!

Okay, poor "clearance" from the Pars, but Strapp put the cat among the pigeons and McAlister finished it sweetly. Not the prettiest but extremely effective.

Got to say we've looked quite a bit better today. We are inviting a bit of pressure and it's clear that McPake has to be doing more defending than he ideally might, but it's not wave upon wave of attack like last week. It's managable. It just means we have to take chances at the other end, and we've done just that.

McElhone on a three-year deal, please.
