2bobbylinns Posted July 22 Posted July 22 From the update last week, would it no be an idea to start offering additional ticket packages for people that can’t commit to a full season ticket. 5 or 10 game passes at £100 & £200 would get money in quick and guaranteed income.

I would love this, I don’t live near Inverclyde anymore so I can only make it to some home games, particularly around the holiday season as I visit family and friends. Would be ideal around then and then also around the opening few games of the season.

2bobbylinns Posted July 23 Posted July 23 I emailed the club yesterday and will get back with what they say. this seems basic to me. Should be done at all times of the year getting folk through the door helps the team and also significantly increases revenue.

You’d be better waiting til the first home league game is out the way, then sell season tickets on a sliding scale (e.g. a 17 game ticket, or an option to nominate a number of games) 3

2bobbylinns Posted July 24 Posted July 24 The club got back to me regarding ticket packages. the SPFL only allows clubs to sell full season tickets or half season tickets in January. There also can not be discounted tickets offered to home fans that are not offered to away supporters. clears it up but seems poor for the SPFL stopping clubs making money. 2

The SPFL actively stand in the way of growth.

In his spare time, he volunteered as coach of Queen of the South Ladies for over six years. To honour his memory, they arranged a pre-season friendly against Morton Ladies, who very kindly made the long trip down on a Sunday evening. The family and I were also presented with two signed Morton shirts (one from the men’s team and one from the women’s team) by manager Gary Forbes and captain Laura Darroch. It was a small gesture but one that meant a great deal to everyone who knew my dad. It’s obviously been a difficult start to the season for the club but I just wanted to say that Gary and everyone involved with the women’s team were fantastic ambassadors for Morton yesterday. They showed a real touch of class and deserve a huge amount of credit. 5 31
