My guess is they'd be keen to avoid people gathering there to watch the game as opposed to just going for a pie/piss.

Take the Motherwell/Hearts cup games as an example, there was overcrowding in the shed to the point the main stairs on the half way line were completely rammed (a safety risk in its own right); remove the wall and folk would just gather up there, blocking the main exit in event of an emergency.

It's not as easy as just taking a wall down for convenience sake.

It wouldn't provide a viewing point anyway because people stand at the back where the wall currently is.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

A goalie coach and now a fucking ballboy?

You don't half go on tear stained crusades on some utterly irrelevant shite.

Not sure, lots of people on this forum love a "tear stained crusade on some utterly irrelevant shite"

I'd go as far as suggesting that it's almost entirely some folks reason for being

Are you the goalkeeper coach or one of the ballboys?

Of course, I couldn't just be a fan who happens to think that the constant  knicker wetting over the slightest issue is tedious as fuck.

Yet for some strange reason this particular issue has you flailing around without actually identifying any specific examples of your 'point'.

I reckon the ball boys would make a more telling contribution tbh.

A little bored today and found an Umbro kit builder online and had a wee play about with it. I don't know when our Joma deal comes to an end but I came up with this...

Looks too much like a rugby top for me.

While strips have been brought up whats everyone's thoughts on coming away from the hooped home top for season? Perhaps a throwback to an Argentina style top or the McGraw pinstripes? Maybe even a variant of a many blue or white top.

There's a storm on the horizon

And for that I can't see the sun

For I'll keep a waiting on the pavement

For the ice cream van to come

McGraw pinstripes for me.

Love that top.

I'm surprised the club haven't attempted a modern remake of the McGraw top. If they got the design right it would sell well.

Shit scared of trying a non-hooped home top after the 'Ajax' debacle.

I think the last few home kits were declared to the league with white listed as the main colour, and blue as the secondary colour. My understand of the rules is that this would prevent us from having an away kit with the same colour scheme.

Full and half-season subscriptions now available for interested fans living outside UK and Ireland...

If you live abroad and haven't done so already, I highly recommend purchasing this live match streaming subscription. It's a no-frills service without commentary, but streaming quality is generally pretty good and it's more-or-less glitch free. Not as good as actually being at the game of course, but it's the next best thing.
