McHugh really flourishing under JJ. Don't think many would deny the influence of the manager on Bob. Playing with confidence as well.

Anyone else notice on sat his turn of pace for his goal. Didn't think he could shift that fast.

McHgh has started 11 games this season and scored 7 goals, ( only one of those was scored off the bench)  Took a fair bit of stick in his time here for not doing enough so good on him for working away and getting his rewards.  I'm sure he said he had a niggling injury for a lot of last season so looks like that is well and truly behind him now.

Hopefully Denny can get himself fit soon, potential to be a decent partnership.

Anyone know the latest with the big man? Was he not 50/50 for a game a few weeks ago?

My guess is that he's ****ed.

Aside from the fact that it leaves us short in numbers, I can't say I'd be too bothered if we never seen him in a Morton strip again. Don't get me wrong, I wish him well and hope he makes a speedy recover and all that but he just isn't that good.

If he makes a comeback like Michael Tidser it will be worth the wait though.

Are there any highlights from Saturday?

I had a wee look for the official highlights but couldn't see them. Several people must have taken their flatscreen TVs to the game by the looks of things.

We are quite slow at getting them out compared to others. I've seen the highlights from the Inverness, Falkirk, Alloa and DU games already.

Missed Sat, so looking forward to seeing it.

Quite a ridiculous judgement to make after 3 and a bit games into a comeback from a fairly lengthy injury with no pre-season under his belt.

Away and bile yer heed. What a crap thing to say about one of our best players.

It's been quicker recently. Just this week it seems to be slow.

Peter Weatherson is the greatest player since Ritchie, and should be assigned 'chairman for life'

More goals to squeeze in this week. Plus the action replay of players picking up bits of glass.

McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up.
Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control...

That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie.

We've just not had anything to look forward to in a while more like

Maybe Eanie was thinking we were talking about Thompson?

Nope, Johnstone. He's been built up to be some kind of low-level Luis Suarez and the answer to our prayers without any real basis for it. We signed a guy who was carrying a long term injury who's barely scored a goal for about 2 years, it's wishful thinking to think he's going to answer our striking problems.

Their keeper looks none to clever in that second half - especially at the 3rd and 5th goals.
