He knows he has a good thing going here, and a relatively secure position but I'm sure he also knows his stock isn't going to get much higher with us (unless we get promoted of course) He'd be leaving us in the s*** if he goes just now, but I couldn't really blame the guy. When 'in the know' roasters crawl out of the woodwork, then some form of appointment will be imminent. The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. His stock is really high among the media because he does a fair bit of that kind of work and seems a decent guy. Other than that the last 10 years of his career haven't exactly been glittering. I'm delighted with the job he's done for us (and the football we're playing) but in terms of achievement Morton are sitting where they should be. No doubt financially a rewarding exercise. I suspect Neil like McInnes will be successful again. Could be really hard/dirty but certainly a good leader. They've basically just checked the same website that was checked earlier in this thread where now has the shortes odds (Duffy has dropped to 25s). Had they wrote the article a week ago, it'd have been Duffy's name in the headline. Article can't even name who has been interviewed. Would be funny though.
