they can afford to show no fear, as they'll probably not be making up the majority of any government.  And I say that as a green party voter.  Until we change the voting system in the UK away from the ridiculous FPTP, it will continue to be who do we fear most.  The only bright side is that the UKIP vote is crumbling.

Agreed. No fear - nothing to lose but a lot to gain.

I thought it was good, indeed very good in parts. Potential voters will note Miliband's shameful (particularly shameful - his father who fled to the UK from the threat of extermination must be turning in his grave) pandering to Farage's xenophobic, anti-immigrant populism.

The mainstream parties apparently have a lot to fear from Farage and UKIP. No fear shown at all though from the Greens, Plaid Cymru and the SNP. Their arguments directly confronted UKIP's closet racism, together with a passionate deconstruction of the dishonest mainstream austerity consensus that scapegoats the poor and vulnerable.

I applaud them for that. There is an alternative, really there is.

I didn't watch the debate but it has occurred to me in recent months that Milliband seems to have forgotten his roots.  And I'm not talking hair dye there.  Labour's "controls on immigration mug" (I thought it must be a meme but apparently not) is a disgrace - they are indeed just Tories wearing a different colour of tie.

"Any nation given the opportunity to regain its national sovereignty and which then rejects it is so far beneath contempt that it is hard to put words to it."

Torygraph allegations that Nicola Sturgeon 'secretly backs' David Cameron for PM have been followed tonight by a 'categorical denial' from Sturgeon herself.

What's the truth?

The odious Murphy and Co will make much of it whatever, true or false.

I see the rent-a-cause reptiles were marching through Glasgow City Centre this morning, with their "Bairns Not Bombs" placards and "Yes" flags left over from Project Fail on display.

They were all there - the Socialist Workers Party, SSP, Pinkos, Lefties, Lesbians with Rainbow Flags, Greens, CND and loads of SNP plebs too.  Even Communist Party - ironically enough in communist countries they wouldn't be allowed to protest in their city centres.

What a great country we live in - the United Kingdom - that we allow such oddities the freedom of speech.

Well I am surprised! Yourself a Christian and all, who views fellow human beings as reptiles. Maybe you should pray for some forgiveness. While you're at it, you could ask your god to save the UK. It's surely on its last legs after all - in need of a miracle I'd say. :D

And you should know. :D

Of course they could and have done; so long as it was for an ideologically sound purpose of course...

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

I would like to hear what Peter Oborne thinks of the Torygraph's latest piece of politically dishonest journalism. Why didn't it show Sturgeon the leaked memo and ask for comment before publication? Isn't that standard practice in responsible journalism? Once again it proves itself to be a joke of a newspaper. Biggest joke of all though was to witness Miliband, Murphy and Dugdale falling into line with the Tory smear campaign. British establishment reactionaries together, hand in hand.

What I find most amusing or is it bemusing is Miliband, Murphy and Dugdale happily quoting the Telegraph as a source to be relied upon.

You sense the desperation when such a non-story becomes the story.

As for the election to date is it not interesting that just about the only story all parties want to talk about is Scotland and the SNP?

Funnily enough, I thought you'd be right into that mob somehow, with your yoghurt-knitting quasi-lesbian mungbean views on everything.

We're all bourgeoise now. :)

Yes = 45= SNP= LOSERS

Yes, and the messageboard moderators censored my signature stating this.

Still, the pro-SNP moderators cannot censor the result.  Heres waiting for the server to pack in for another couple of months.
