Why do we repeatedly sign such a lot of useless less-than-mediocre nonentities? Did Rae not learn from the Novo debacle? Will O'Connor score before the end of the season? WTF is the point of Rowan Vine? This is by far the worst season I can recall, coming as it has immediately after a reasonably successful season. I cannot think of a single league game that has actually been enjoyable to watch. They should have a football pitch at Guantanamo bay and force the inmates to watch Morton v Alloa every day - save a lot of water that way. Totally scunnered. I'm not sure if you can really measure shittyness. The interesting thing for me is the majority of the players that Shiels discraded have gone on to better things, albeit only slightly better. We're not shipping five goals to Cowden and Livi anymore, and for much of the second half on Saturday we were actually not bad.

I said excluding our two centre backs - I would say we are better in those positions although any change that involved removing Page from a CB slot would be an improvement. The rest of the team is no better than it was. If for example you think that McCormick is a better RB than Craig Reid I would have to disagree. Anyway the opposition don't have time to score 5 goals as we seem to spend about 75 minutes of each game passing the ball about on the edge of our own area until the keeper is forced to hoof it clear under pressure. I like a passing game but you need to have players who can actually pass the ball, and pass it at more than walking pace. TRVMP Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 McCormack's nothing special, admittedly, but McKay was lively on Saturday, O'Connor's a far better bet than Novo, Cham etc... we're a much better outfit and that's reflected in our less-embarrassing-but-admittedly-still-embarrassing results.

Good. The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

But your persona (and that's what it is) on here now is wearing thin. You can dance around anyone verbally - myself included - but a lot of the times you're skating a very thin line between criticism and outright abuse. Doesn't matter if that is levied at other posters or Morton players/backroom staff. I know for a fact you'd never say this stuff in real life to anyone.
