The Inverclyde Tv Thread - Interviews Etc

To Kenny Shiels - Is it not a risky strategy, signing a lot of new players, who have never played together, and asking them to fight for their lives in a relegation battle.

In the situation that we're in, you want a team packed with experience who have played together for a considerable amount of games. Players that know how their team mates play. Is Kenny worried that the new players might take too long to gel and perhaps too long to adapt to the Scottish game and subsequently not manage to win enough matches to save us.

To O'Connor - Is he just looking at staying with us until the end of the season or is he interested in staying longer.

What would he say to the fans that think he'll be too unfit, not sharp enough, and lacks a competitive edge due to the fact he has been out of the game for a year.

Has he got a certain goals tally target that he's set himself from now until the end of the season?

Players we have signed have all played in Scotland before?

Hi guys, Interviews have been postponed till tomorrow this week,  Kenny Shiels and Garry O'Connor.  Input welcome as always

The actual interviewing, or posting them for the public to watch?

If the latter, could you shed some light on the O'Connor situation?

Will he have clearance in time for tomorrow?

Dont quite get you. We either go with the dross that has won 2 league games all season or get rid of few of them and replace them with new apparently better players.  Shiels has clearly felt the players aren;t good enough and he has no other option but to bring in new players. The players that have been playing together for the last 6 months and know each others game clearly isn't working.

I do agree that the current squad wasn't/isn't good enough. Just interested to hear Kenny's view on things and whether he's considered the risk factor.

Gies a win as I am fed up with rehashing the same old responses to the same old questions.

The other comment that really saddens me is that last week a player chooses Dumbarton over Morton this week it is Raith over Morton - I know we are a diddy team but more diddier than Dumbarton and Raith ? :crying:

Good interview, again.

Kenny needs to learn to turn his phone off before being interviewed. That's two weeks in a row now..

Apparently he phoned them back and we have clearance to play O'Connor on Saturday?

Can anyone confirm...

Also looks like the Cole/Peciar pairing is, until further notice.

Thought they weren't too bad, have always stated that Peciar would be decent alongside someone else who was decent.

Watch him make 10 errors tomorrow now that I've said that.
