Tubes
Ross MacLean is absolutely pish, still got another 2 levels to go until level found though. He’s got Lowland league written all over him. Edited June 10, 2021 by Tubes

The ISL kicks off around October. Maybe they'd let him go for nothing but 1) we're probably paying half of what they are and 2) he's an AFC player, and those are basically a free slot in the ISL squad lists. To expand on that point: they can have six foreigners, one extra AFC player, and the rest have to be Indian. Given that football is a minority sport in India, primarily in Kolkata, Goa, and a few other scattered areas, there's not a huge talent pool to draw from. Hence AFC players to fill that seventh slot are like gold dust, and they tend to be Australians as they square the circle: they are Anglophone, willing to move, their domestic league isn't nearly as protectionist, and it also doesn't pay that well. Compare and contrast to South Korea, for example, where players are decently paid but moreover the country moves heaven and earth to keep the talent at home unless it's headed for a big-time European league. The top leagues in the Middle East do the same: any halfway decent Saudi or Emirati is given an embarrassment of riches to stay at home. Then there are tons of countries with players who'd slit a throat to move away, but they tend to be crap. So... Aussies are at something of a premium. edit: I just looked it up. Of the 11 ISL clubs last season, all but two had Australian players in the AFC slot. The remaining two are the Japanese international half-Englishman Cy Goddard, and a Tajik named Fatkhullo Fatkhuloev. The latter, formerly at Chennai, has since moved back to CSKA Pamir in his nation's capital. It remains to be seen which Australian will replace him. Stevie Aitken's Love Child
Dunfermline have apparently accepted a bid of £50k for Declan McManus from TNS. Paying actual cash money for Declan McManus. Wild.

When the past few years of signings have yielded nothing other than complete dross of Scottish football like Gregor Buchanan, Kalvin Orsi, Cameron Blues and the likes, generic 'pen-in-hand' pictures are far more than that shower of shite even merit. 1 *insert signature here*
TRVMP
Jonatan Johansson quite possibly saves his job as TPS pick up only their second win over the season away to RoPS. They jump to 7th in the Finnish second tier, six points behind leaders Jaro. Given that they're one of Finland's more successful clubs, to be LANGUISHING mid-table in the reindeer league isn't exactly great.
