BNP to put own seals on ballot boxes over fraud fears

I'm not a fan of the BNP in any shape or form. But this is a lesson for the SNP and others to follow suit.

british democracy is a complete joke. We should not be taking any chances in forthcoming elections , especially with the Union on a shoogily peg.

Don't blame me I voted Yes!!!! - We tried to tell you !!!!!

I have no time for the BNP but that would seem to be a very good idea. I bet Labour are cr4pping themselves now that they might not be able to do a Glenrothes again.

We all know they fiddle the votes, but proving it is difficult.

Perfectly balanced. A chip on either shoulder .......

Yup, the way to independence and securing the hearts and minds of the masses, the yes's, the no's, the don't knows ......... put our own wee stickers on the boxes.

It's no use securing the hearts and minds of the masses and then all their votes mysteriously disappear come election time.

I think it's a perfectly plausible idea to put seals on boxes. These boxes have been tampered with in the past -FACT !

JUST COS YOU WRITE IT IN CAPITAL LETTERS DOESN'T MAKE IT SO - FACT !

THE NEED TO PUT "FACT" AT THE END OF YOUR SENTENCES TENDS TO MAKE TH EREADER BELIEVE IT IS ANYTHING BUT - THEORY.

Indeed, they are, after all, to the left of the essenpee in matters of economics.

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their consciences."

What are the BNP's policies on economics ?

fairly protectionist and anti-free market. As Tom says, to the left of the SNP, and possibly every other party apart from the CP if they still exist.

I'm worried that you find something that this party does acceptable. My understanding is that putting other seals on the box, other than those officially sanctioned seals is deemed tantamount to fiddling.

I agree that something needs to be done about postal voting etc, but not sure that the BNP's attempt to show themselves as the party of the dispossessed is the right way forward.

They still exist. These days they're known as New Labour and the HSE.

They are an organisation which plays on paranoia and fear, so this is just typical of this racist, bigoted scum.

I will do everything in my power to stop them EVER becoming a force in Scottish or British Politics. I suggest everyone else does so too. Regardless of your opinions are in the immigration situation, you need to realise that this lot are ignorant lunatics and should they be argued against at every single opportunity.

I seem to remember the last Holyrood election was described as 'a farce that would embarrass a banana republic' by Ian McWhirter I think, oh but he's a unionist don't you know?

McWhirter's mother was a staunch Nationalist. He would be best described as a Federalist.
