garymcc1874
Cuthbert, Walker, Smith, McManus, Greacen, Masterton, Finlayson, McGuffie, Weatherson, Wake, McAlister Subs - Jenkins, Russell, Paartalu, Stevenson, Stewart Disappointing that Shimmin hasn't made it. Glad McGuffie has been brought in in place of Mr Overrated. Don't like Wake and Weatherson as a partnership. Interesting to see Stevenson on the bench. TTG JIM!!! Agree with that, hope Jamie can put in some good input to the game, time will tell. That to me isnt a very strong team imo, midfield on the weak side, if we manage a point then i'll be happy. Peter Weatherson is the greatest player since Ritchie, and should be assigned 'chairman for life'
The Naitch
I actually hope Stevenson gets a run out at some point. IF he manages to impress, then I reckon he could be in Irons' plans for the rest of the season. "To be the man, you gotta beat the man"
irnbru
I actually hope Stevenson gets a run out at some point. IF he manages to impress, then I reckon he could be in Irons' plans for the rest of the season. Hope so too. If we're looking at an attacking midfielder as reports suggest, Jamie playing wee might save us a bit of money and allow us to look at other areas that I feel are more important. When Jamie first signed I thought he had it in him to be a top player and I dont think there was much doubt in that from within Cappielow either. Changing potential into ability is a different matter however and whether he can still do this remains to be seen. I hope he can for the teams sake and will be interesting to see what happens in the next few weeks. He's still relitivly young and from anytime I've met him he seems down to earth but shy and unconfident - I think this is more his problem rather than the sulky big head some make him out to be. Malt
It's a big blow losing Shimmin as he has been a stand out for us. The worry now is regarding McManus and Greacen partnership as they aint played together much and McManus could be lacking some fitness. I would have considered playing a back 4 of: McGuffie------Smith------Greacen------Walker But, we will wait and see what happens. I aint confident as our away form is not great and Dundee have good attacking options. Would gladly take a point from the game. I don't know what to make of Stevenson. I didn't think he was a stand out player for us and he was not missed a great deal when taken out the squad but fair play to him going out on loan and willing to fight for his place. Lets hope he shows some of the flair that got him a move to Spain.
The Naitch
Radio Scotland have reporters at all the First Division games - except Dundee vs Morton. Typical, eh? "To be the man, you gotta beat the man"
irnbru
I'd never have Smith in the centre of defence. If he's going to be in the team at all he needs to be at left back where he will cause least damage. Irons has said himself he cant use his right foot at all and while I fail to see how someone could make a career from football by having this lack of ability (unless they havie exeptional talent), if he has to be in the team then it should be on the left. Playing in centre defence requires a player to at least be able to clear the ball with either foot if needed and if a player cant do this he cant take up a role through the middle. SpoonTon
That looks like a very uninspiring line-up to me. Long balls and set-pieces will probably be our hope for a goal. Hopefully we can sneak a 0-0.

AyrshireTon
Falkirk 1-0 up at Ibrox McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up. Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control... That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie.
