vikingTON Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 It wouldn't be winter without a traditional snowfall and the council's traditional gross negligence at keeping the roads clear. This year is no different: the snow is landing on the main road from Kilmacolm already. 'Incompetence Council' at its finest. <_> The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

vikingTON Posted December 4, 2008 Author Posted December 4, 2008 Really? I'm in Erskine and it's torrential rain up here. No sign of any snow. Yeah but Erskine's subtropical compared to here. 'Here' I must add, is a reasonably high-up area of Greenock. Davie McArthur Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 We've had snow and ice for days now and our road hasn't been gritted at all. Where does our £200 a month go? Ah, just remembered, banks in Iceland. South Lanarkshire council had £7.5m in ONE account there when it went the way of the pear. MARTY OUT!!!!!
NonTon Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 I seen a broken down gritter being towed down Morton Terrace when I was coming back from work...might have something to do with with it I was a professional twice over — an analyst and a therapist. The world’s first...

port-ton Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 There is snow up the top of the port but unfortunately not enough to stop the buses, meaning i have to travel to glasgow to go for my second 11 hour shift in two days. Plus its 20% off day in Marks and Spencers and we're open until 10pm, im going to get molested all night bylots of old women asking me where the lingerie section is. Good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things, but only with religion do good people do bad things!

puggsy_ton Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Have had fun and games this week as I'm covering janitorial supplies. Tuesday comes and the phone/email/fax goes crazy as jannies realise they have no salt whatsoever! Honestly, in December you'd think they would have saw it coming...then again! <_>
