It quoted what Brand said when he left his house and then finished with this: 'He then got into a chauffeur-driven Mercedes for a flight to Los Angeles.' He gets paid £200,000 a year for his Radio 2 show apparently, would seem Ross is the one with the most to lose here. Sachs has even said they both have talent, especially Jonathan, but that they are misusing it. Please watch brands stand up show shame. Shows all the lies the tabloids print about them, and i wouldnt be surprised if this was among them. Im pretty sure he gets 100k a year for his radio show. And those watching the listening and downloading figures will agree hes worth the money We are not home and dry, we could not even be said to be home and vigorously towelling ourselves off! Personally, I'm just looking at what was said to Andrew Sachs and I think it was out of order. It was a cheap shot at the wrong target imo. Whether or not he thinks she deserves an apology isn't what I'm saying. Leaving the "Satanic Slut" out of it (as the girl obviously has issues) I'd like to hear some justification in why its ok to say what was said because he had to pull out of a radio show? You are in trouble when the daily mail and teh sun take the moral highground against you. Also, the show was pre recorded and im pretty sure brand and ross didnt sit in the studio editing the show for release on the saturday night. The show was recorded on the thursday for release on the saturday so why did no one in the editing team see fit to remove the offending section of the show. You say sachs is the wrong target? perhaps in this casse, brand and ross are the 2 wrong targets We are not home and dry, we could not even be said to be home and vigorously towelling ourselves off! dirty dingus Posted October 29, 2008 Share Posted October 29, 2008 basically it's a chance for the press to have a go at two targets it doesn't like as they don't court the press in they way they would like ross having threatening to sue one o murdochs baby's and brand won substantial damages against the daily star, so as soon as the make an arse o themselves the vultures are ready to pounce, andrew sachs accepted the apology his grand daughter should give her side of the story and make a few bob and give brand a roasting, they should make a personal donation to a good cause on sachs/grand daughters behalf, it should be left to wrapping up fish suppers and everyone can concentrate on the real issues in this world. She is not someone doing an ordinary job whose career would be ruined by this story she is a wannabe . Tam the media is full of smutty stories and celebrities whose only talent is sleeping with someone else . The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away.
