David, the more mature among us can respect other people's views and the way they present them without actually agreeing with them. :P

Brilliant, another square-heided small-minded Patriot.

Was Mason not the guy who suggested that we start naming streets after William Wallace and Robert the Bruce when speaking out against naming one after Donald Dewar?

What happens if you don't get a result on this 2010 Referendum then? Does Scotland turn into another Quebec, where we're having an independence referendum every other year? I'm not asking this to point score for "The Union", I genuinely want to hear SNP supporters opinion.

For the record, Curran and Mason were both crappy candidates and I'll admit that Labour is a dead horse, but I still don't like the SNP.

I have grave reservations about a bible bashing Baptist accountant-still single in his early fifties-ESPECIALLY when he's called Mason.

Curran is unadulterated quasi socialist jumped up nobody KEECH.

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then they pretend to befriend you, then you win!

He's a Junior Member, but he'll earn his Porridge Badge soon enough.

Is Puggs also a mobster-how many of them share the spell-checker?

Yes mate, everyone who disagrees with you is a Tory. That's a nice way to think.

It's not like the SNP would ever f*ck over the working man!

Has the Labour party not done exactly that in the decades of rule in places such as Glasgow East?

The working man has been taken for granted by Labour for far too long. They do not represent Joe Public anymore.

The SNP are the only alternative to this failing party as long as we are in this union with the rest of the UK. They are the only party with left of centre views and as such are a direct suitable option for thousands of disgruntled Labour supporters. This is evident by the fear shown by Labour party members in Scotland.

Winning a vote on Independence or not won't take away the fact there is no alternative in Scottish poilitics at this time and I don't forsee any in the near future.

Currans attitude after her defeat last night showed that Labour in Scotland is still living in the illusion of thinking they are socialists, if she advocates the end to poverty (had plenty of chances to do so) why does she stick with a party who have no intention of solving the problems?

I didn't say I don't want an independent Scotland.

It's f*cking ridiculous that we've gotten to the point where someone can't ask a simple question of the SNP mob without being told to f*** off to England.

Excuse me,dont you dare refer to the SNP as a mob.All the mobs belong south of the border.

Well I'm not a Tory, nor do I support the Conservative Party or any of their policies, your only criteria for calling me a Tory was that I disagree with you.

You think Mason is ace and I think he's a w*nk, we're not agreeing.

I agree with you. Labour's u-turn away from traditional working class values is exactly why they've lost Scotland and why they may never win it back again. It won't be long before even the Trade Unions abandon Labour.

I still chalk down these major SNP victories to Labour disillusionment rather than any great surge of nationalism, but I suppose we'll see in 2010.

by the sounds of it a bill detailing a referundum wouldnt get through parliament. a double win for the snp. it exposes the other parties for the petty children they are, and the polls show that the steady increase in support means the ideal time for a referendum would be round about 2013

We are not home and dry, we could not even be said to be home and vigorously towelling ourselves off!

I didn't say I don't want an independent Scotland.

If that's the case then I'd strongly urge you to put your misgivings about the SNP to one side and vote for them at least until the independence referendum, because no other credible party is going to give you that opportunity.
