magic :)

Still can't believe Felt (and The House of Love) played Inverkip Hotel (just about next door to me) when I was 8.

I remember that one quite vividly. The House Of Love still had the German girl in the band at the time.

I think there was another solo singer on the bill that night (maybe David Westlake?), bit of a Creation records tour going on.

And Felt were magnificent.

Did the TV Personalities not turn up late for that gig, or was that another one in Inverkp with Felt. Think it was Felt's last ever gig?

I think the TVP's played with Felt at Ricos. I seem to remember them doing a cover of "Bike" by Pink Floyd.

I only ever saw Felt live in Inverclyde - Subbies, Ricos and Inverkip hotel.

Edit to add: It was Ricos - McD's gig page

Thanks, I hadn't seen that page of McD's before :) . Craig Jamieson! The bold CJ - what a man! Memories of a happy trip to London came flooding back there :D

What's with the missing years post-96 though? The Super Furry Animals, and that Seahorses gig etc, were they not all post-96 I'm sure?

And the 1986 Scream Team for £2.50...ffs, you canny grumble with that :D

Christ, just looked at that webpage - talk about a trip down memory lane !

The Bluebells hit Janeys just as I'm Falling hit the charts - an outstanding gig - despite the tweeness.

I was also at most if not all of the King Kurt gigs in Janeys, in fact I was at most gigs in Janeys.

And the Kevin McDermott Orchestra were outstanding in the Ambassador. Hugely under rated and over looked.

Same for The Shamen, and (whisper it) The Lotus Eaters.

Magic memories

Saw the interview in the Tele, mate.

Really enjoyed the several Pineapple Nights I went to and wanted to thank you on a great wee piece of Greenock musical history you created! Good wee venue for what was always an atmospheric night, you and Lauren (?) should be proud!

All the best with your next project? :)
