Kaney
At least it will be nice to see some goals and get some wins Haha, but really, I think we'll just manage to hang on to 8th spot at the end of it all. Should we go down though, I think we've got the squad already to bounce right back up, and thats without the improvments Irons will be planning on making during the summer. Mon the 'ton. Tomorrow will be the most beautiful day of Raymond K. Hessel's life. His breakfast will taste better than any meal you and I have ever tasted. stuart
Yeah, it is just the pessimist in me but I looked at the team yesterday and thought they would do well in the second division - or is that the optimist in me?

port-ton
I hope yer right, but I dont think its that simple MortonJag is always correct, months in advance of anyone else. the fact he has said this had made me feel secure, although i cant get my head around him saying something positive yet. ThornTON
We are ten points ahead of the play-off spot. There will be no automatic relegation, why would anyone think we have anything more than an outside chance of being relegated?
John_1959
From the interview with the Gretna administrator after the Celtic game, he seems to think that Gretna will survive to be relegated, and play in div 1 next season. His comments to "chico" were..... " They played in that division last season, at Raydale, so why not again ?" No matter what, my season ticket will be bought again....... no matter where
vikingTON
If Gretna survive until the conclusion of the play-offs ie the end of the SPL season, then there would be possible relegation for 9th. If Gretna then fold I'd assume the two play-off finalists would be in division 1? Oh, and we'd walk the 2nd with that team IMO - they lack confidence gained by wins more than anything else. The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

He doesn't really expect Gretna to survive any more tham I do. Into the big liquidiser NOW I demand. We don't have to be good, just better than Clyde or Livvi in our remaining fixtures. It's all to do with your concept of the concept Mr McArthur. I believe that in footballing terms 'full time' is simply meant to indicate 'no other source of earned income'.
