New Offside Changes

With the change to the offside rule, where you will not be given offside until you either receive the ball, or obstruct an opponent.

Does this not give you opportunity to poach and try and stretch a team by always keeping someone near the 18 yard line, not to kick it to but for him get involved by trying to draw defenders out of position.

Or alternatively this gives our p*sh poor officials in Div 2 even more chance to get it wrong.

Just bounce if you hate St Mirren

The SFA have said, after discussions with refs chief Don McVicar, that this new alteration to the rule will be largely ignored by its referees.

Lets hope those referees who prefer to court controversy in the Second Division follow this decision.
