Disabled Supporters Information  

Visually impaired supporters can be accommodated in the lower tier of the George Fox Stand where they receive access to match commentary through headphones. This service is provided by the Dundee Blind and Partially Sighted Society (tel 01382 227101) and supporters should liaise with this organisation in the first instance   

Wheelchair capacity: there are 16 wheelchair spaces in the George Fox Stand Lower stand and 11 in the Eddie Thompson Stand. Wheelchair users accommodated in the George Fox Stand enter from the appropriately manned doors at either end of the stand. There is a facility for non-bookable disabled parking (12 spaces) at the east side of North Isla Street (between Tannadice Street and Fairbairn Street) or at the south kerb of Sandeman Street (between the east end of the George Fox Stand and Arklay Street).  Disabled Away Supporters at Tannadice: For smaller games, there is a facility for four wheelchair spaces situated between the Fair Play and West Stand.

From Queen Street, services to Dundee operate regularly on the Glasgow-Aberdeen line. If not purchasing advanced tickets, then purchasing tickets from Glasgow-Perth and Perth-Dundee works out cheaper than a direct ticket. Electronic ticket barriers are in operation at Dundee.

By Car   

Use postcode DD3 7JY for the stadium. The approximate journey time from Cappielow via the M8, M80 and A9 is 1hr 52 mins. Please be aware that there is very limited street parking around the vicinity of the stadium. One of the best options is to park at Fairmuir FC’s football pitches (DD4 9BG), which are around a 10 minute (0.5 mile) walk from Tannadice. Street parking is limited around the stadium area, as can be seen in the diagram below.

If you are arriving in Dundee city center then Trades House Bar (40 Nethergate, Dundee DD1 4ET) is a few minutes walk from Dundee Station, serving food and drinks and showing live sport. If arriving at the stadium, The Ellenbank Bar (128 Alexander St, Dundee DD3 7DE) has all the usual pre-match requirements and is only a few minutes walk from the turnstiles.

Disabled Supporters Information 

The following provisions are in place for disabled fans - 26 wheelchair places with adjacent carer seats in both the North & South Stands; 14 wheelchair places with adjacent carer seats in the Main Stand; wheelchair shelters in North Stand and beside Main Stand; 3 wheelchair places with adjacent carer seats in the West Stand and accessible seats available in all stands for ambulant disabled. Reserved car parking bays in Directors, North and South Car parks. The car parking bays are situated in close proximity to the various points of entry to the stadium. By Train 

Travel to Glasgow Central and transfer to Queen Street. From there, transfer to either a direct Glasgow to Inverness service, or a Glasgow to Aberdeen service until Perth. If you do not purchase advanced tickets, make sure you split your tickets as follows for the best possible price – Glasgow Queen St. to Perth (return) and Perth to Inverness (return).  

The station is around a 20-25 minute walk from the stadium, supporters are advised to you use the designated walking route through the Industrial Estate which is signposted from Longman Road and avoids crossing the A9 trunk road.

By Car 

Use the M8/M80/A90 towards Perth. From Perth head north on the A9 until you reach Inverness. At the Longman Roundabout before the Kessock Bridge, take the right lane as you approach the traffic lights. Then take third exit and carry on along Stadium Road until you come to the Stadium and away car park. Be prepared for delays on the A9 due to ongoing roadworks and traffic. The approach to the Kessock Bridge can also be busy at peak times.

On a game by game basis, wheelchair users should contact the club in advance to discuss their ticket requirements and collection arrangements, along with directions for access to the stadium. All other disabled supporters can gain access to the ground via the concession turnstiles, with stewards/club staff assisting should any issues arise. The contact area on Match Days will be within the Club Shop which is adjacent to the Main Door of the Stadium and can be accessed by Wheelchair users. By Train  

There are two services an hour to Glasgow Central on the low line, departing Gourock :08 and :38 every hour, as well as one train an hour on the high line, departing Wemyss Bay at :57 every hour. Trains back to Inverclyde after the match are less frequent, shown in the image below. Please double check the final destination of all these services before boarding.   

Transfer to Glasgow Queen Street Low Level and alight a Helensburgh Central to Edinburgh Waverly service. If you’re looking for a pint before the game, alight in Airdrie. If you are planning on heading straight to the stadium from the train, then Drumgelloch is a shorter walk to the stadium.

If alighting at Airdrie and are looking for a pre-match pint then the West End Bar (24-26 Alexander St, Airdrie ML6 0BA) offers the usual hostelries. Disabled Supporters Information – 

The following is an exert from the Arbroath website – “Gayfield Park, home of Arbroath FC has two enclosed disabled seating areas on either side of the main stand which are reserved for wheelchair users and their assistants / carers. Each area can accommodate up to 3 wheelchairs and 3 assistants/carers. These areas also have wall attached seats which fold down in place for any assistant or carer that is present on the day. 

Each side is accessible via a smooth flat surface suitable for wheel chairs with a disabled toilet on the opposite side of the stand. Our match day stewards are always on hand to give assistance either into the ground, or to the accessible areas. 

Unfortunately due to Gayfield’s location we don’t own any parking spaces around the ground, but there is plenty of spaces on either side of the ground to park which is all completely free. If the distance from the main gate to the accessible area is too far, then we are happy to accommodate a vehicle into the ground for a close drop off. In this circumstance we would please ask that you contact the club a day or two before hand and arrive a little earlier than normal. 

We offer a concession admission for those with a disability and free admission to any assistant or carer present. We are a community club and hope to give all visiting and home fans the same experience as they are welcomed into our ground.

Use the postcode G20 7AL for the stadium. Without traffic, the estimated journey time from Cappielow to Firhill is 29 minutes via the M8. There is free on-street parking on Garscube Road and adjacent streets on route to the stadium. Firhill Road usually closes between 2.30pm and 5pm.

If you’re looking to break up the journey from Greenock to Maryhill, the Toby Jug is a thirty second walk from Glasgow Central on Hope Street (97 Hope St, Glasgow G2 6LL). 

Upon arrival in Maryhill, Munns (610 Maryhill Rd, Glasgow G20 7ED) is the closest pub to the stadium and is around a five-minute walk from the away turnstiles. Munns opens at 11am and is a traditional football pub which welcomes home fans and away fans. They sell 35ml spirits, have a pool table and dart board and a separate lounge area.

Disabled Supporters Information 

There is no limit to the number of tickets available to disabled supporters, although East End Park is only able to accommodate 19 home wheelchair users and 12 away wheelchair users, and therefore tickets for this group of supporters are subject to availability. Where a disabled supporter requires a carer or Personal Assistant, that person will be admitted free of charge. 

The Club has 6 dedicated parking spaces for disabled away fans behind the East Stand, spaces can be booked in advance by emailing matthew@dafc.co.uk up to 24 hours before the match. Any remaing spaces will be available on a first come first served basis on matchday. Please enter the Main Carpark via Leys Park Road and follow the stewards` directions. These spaces are available free of charge.

The East Port (7 East Port, Dunfermline, KY12 7JG) is the best bet for pre-match refreshments, offering the usual amenities. You may struggle around the stadium, with the Elizabethan not welcoming football fans, and the stadium bars typically not admitting away fans.

Disabled Fans Information  

The 7 spaces in the North West Corner are utilised by away fans. The Club has wheelchairs available, to give assistance to individuals who may by reason of frailty or mobility impairment require the use of one for the duration of their visit to the Club or to transfer from one location to another.  These wheelchairs are located at the Ambulance Room, Main Stand Reception and AH Reception. 

Lifts are available at accessible points throughout the Club, and though access to venues is possible in all but a few hospitality areas, equal provision of service can be replicated. Customers are advised to inform us of any arrangements that we may require to have in place for them so that we can ensure suitability of venues.  Where access to hospitality dining areas is hampered by height differentials between viewing and dining areas portable ramps have been provided.

Use the postcode G51 2XD for the stadium. The journey from Cappielow to Ibrox (without matchday traffic) takes around 25 minutes (20.1 miles). Parking around the stadium is a potential issue, although the Govan Asda hosts a large carpark.  

Pre-Match 

Your best bet is staying within the city centre before heading for the Subway. The best place for a reasonably priced pint in the surrounds of Glasgow Central is around Hope Street, which has several pubs on the doorstep of the station.

Disabled Supporters Information 

Wheelchairs User supporters and their personal assistants can be allocated in the Main Stand. Where this stand is not open for general use, wheelchair users will have the option of using the Penman Family Stand. In these circumstances, where wheelchair guests would prefer not to sit in what would be a ‘home’ stand they will be accommodated in the McDermid Stand. Toilet facilities will be available however food outlets will not. There are 14 car park spaces in the North Car Park reserved for blue badge holders. These are allocated on a first come basis to home and away supporters.

Ross County FC have 12 disabled bays available which can be booked in advance of matches. Supporters should be aware that bays are allocated on a first come, first served basis. There are a few hostelries to choose from in Dingwall town center, which is a short walk from the stadium. The Mallard (Station Square, Dingwall IV15 9JD) and The Caledonian Bars (Caledonian House, High St, Dingwall IV15 9RY) provide all the usual amenities to thirsty travelers.

Tickets can be purchased on the Kelty Hearts website or on the Fanbase Club app. Ticket prices are as follows – Adults £14; Concessions £10; U12s Free (accompanied by a paying adult).  

Disabled Fan Information 

The following information is available on the Kelty Hearts website: 

If you plan to attend a match at New Central Park, Personal Assistants are free with a Person who is Disabled Concession ticket. If any supporters wish to request a seat or wheelchair access for a match, please contact our DAO Ian Thomson for assistance. Ian can be contacted by email at keltyjock@hotmail.com prior to the game and on match days by mobile phone on 07807422321. Ian will be able to offer valuable advice and assistance when it comes to accessible issues relating to stadium and club premises.  
 
Parking for fans who are disabled is available in the car park at the Community Centre and access into the ground is by the North entrance. There are 8 wheelchair spaces and 3 seats for personal assistants at the North end of the seated West Stand and an area to the East of the North terracing. These are first come, first served. Supporters must buy a ticket on Fanbase first before requesting a seat.  Full access around the pitch, covered enclosures, Pie Huts and toilets are accessible and can be reached using the pathways around the ground.   

Supporters Buses  

The Gourock Morton Supporters bus will depart from The Old Wherry Tavern at 12:15pm. Two buses are running with a few seats remaining available. The price will be decided on the day. Message their page on Facebook or contact Mark on 07847847357 to book a space. 

By Train 

There are two services an hour to Glasgow Central on the low line, departing Gourock at :08 and :38 every hour, as well as one train an hour on the high line, departing Wemyss Bay at :57 every hour. Travel to Glasgow Central and transfer to Glasgow Queen Street. From Glasgow Queen Street, travel to Haymarket and board a service bound for Cowdenbeath. From Cowdenbeath, the best bet is to travel to the stadium by taxi, with the three-mile trip taking approximately eight minutes by car. Please note that the times scheduled below include a 45 minute layover using the bus between Glasgow Central and Queen Street station.

By Car  

Use the podcast KY4 0AG for the stadium. From Cappielow, the trip to Kelty via the M8, M80, M876 and A876 takes approximately 1hr 18 mins (67.7 miles). Street parking is available around the stadium.  

Pre-Match 

Hostelries in Kelty are thin on the ground, however the Kelty Hearts social club is open from boo. The only viable option outside of this is the The Kings Inn (2 Main St, Kelty KY4 0AA).
