Amazing to think we're one point off the last playoff place (albeit ICT have a game in hand, against Ayr.)

The table's splitting into three segments now: the top three (County, Ayr, United), the race for the final playoff spot (ICT, Morton, QoS, Dunfermline), and the relegation pack (Alloa, Thistle, Falkirk.) But all that could change in the space of just a few games, of course.

Phew - badly needed win that.

McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up.
Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control...

That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie.

Good result.

Caldwell must be under a fair amount of pressure. One win in 9 or 10 is it? His objective was to win every game...good luck Gaz.

He's been tumbling down the leagues for his entire managerial career. He'll be lucky to get the Albion Rovers job if he carries on like this.

Decent set of results. Alloa winning is lovely, good to see Falkirk and Partick cut adrift a bit ahead of the window.

Wouldn't have said that had things not gone our way, imagine the meltdown on here tonight if we were only 3 points ahead of 8th place Alloa.l tonight.

Big result for JJ, he needed that. Breathing space and we can have a wee glance up rather than down for a few days.

Have to point out the performance was poor, have definitely played better and lost. We invited so much pressure and nearly threw it away. Big cracks still there but win was the most important thing today and we got it.

Wonder if Quitongo will be released as his deal coming to an end and one goal? Also, the drama away from the park...

You would think, although it's surprising enough he is back in the squad considering what has gone on. Are they that desperate?
