Cornbeef has been tainted to all right thinking folk due to him.

If the clique and their acolytes/fanboys ( ie you) can't handle a bit of dissent, that's tough.

It's a shit job but somebody has to do it. Watch you don't fall off that bandwagon Taunton.

Chesh's updates have been little short of piss poor today.

You're not actually Václav ****ing Havel; you're just a bitter, seething mess who defends anti-Irish, sectarian bigots by the score.

Thanks for playing anyway champ; have a red dot for your troubles.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

Would imagine the signings might slow down now. 13 in, 5 to go and he talked about patience and waiting for the right players to become available.

3 weeks until our first game. Be great if we would at least have a right back, centre back and Striker by then and he can then add a left sided midfielder and another striker later on...

Really don't think you're best placed to judge others on matters of racism - but your lack of self awareness is hardly surprising.

And you always think other posters are seething. Sorry to disappoint but you barely raise an eyebrow now due to your predictable, repetitive twaddle. You come across as unpleasant, but it's old hat by this time.

From the Tele -

The Irishman’s signature moves McKinnon’s first team squad up to 15 players so far, with the manager previously stating he wanted a squad of 18 backed up by four youngsters.

That was yesterday, after announcing Scully's signing.

McLean's loan was announced shortly after that.Would he make it up to 16, or does his loan mean there's still room in the budget for 3 more signings?

I'd imagine we'll be contributing to the loan therefore McLean will count as part of the numbers, not an extra, so would still stand at 16.

Also, when you look at the existing 16, that includes Strapp, Langan and Armour. I'd expect that they'd be included under the '4 youngsters' category, rather than the main 18 therefore leaving another 3 places for signings.

So potentially if Russell, Quitongo and Tiffoney sign that’s us?

Wouldn’t be happy with that squad, at all.

I think Russell is away after being removed from the official site.

If Tiff signs, i'd like to think he'd be the 4th of the 'youngsters'. If Quitongo signs, i'd hope he'd be the 14th of the main 18, leaving 4 more spaces for signings.

Given that Tiff was a first-team regular last season I think this is optimistic. I see your logic but both he and his agent will presumably feel he justifies a first-team wage.

I'm excellently placed to judge racism: having not spent months white-knighting two anti-Irish racists as you have done. Your lies about not being bothered have been fatally undermined by the fact that you actually quoted my post twice before thumping out that utterly tragic rap lecture.

Better luck next time.

And they can both be told that 'no, you're still mostly gubbins, so get back in your box' then. It's not as if there'd be a stack of clubs looking to pay GMFC compensation for him.

Optimistic, i agree, more hopeful. Not beyond the realms of possibility for him to be included in that bracket, doubt his wages would be that high regardless.

Guess it doesn't really matter what he and his agent think, the only opinion that matters is whether or not McKinnon feels he deserves to be allocated a larger first team wage. If not, and he and his agent feel they deserve better, he'll be off. The club's only obligation with regards to compensation was to match, or better, his existing deal. As the youngsters were offered deals before McKinnon was appointed, i'd be surprised if the club had offered him an upgrade to a larger first team wage at that point. McKinnon may have deemed him worthy and revised it since being appointed but we don't know.

Yeah, like you I'm working with very little info here, but my guess is he was offered the same as he was on, but whether or not that's enough is anyone's guess.
