Wanting the result to go against JJ - wanting your team to get beat.

It really isn’t that difficult. Unlucky. Fud

A draw would have went against him and his fight to keep his job.

Not that difficult to realise that anything other than 3pts was a must for him.

He lives to fight ankther day

He played Tidser, dropped Dykes, gave one of our youth prospects a game and also made substitutions early.

It almost felt like he was managing tonight's game knowing it was the last chance saloon and he let his stubbornness and pride go for once, and look how it worked out.

Saw someone commenting on one of the Facebook pages that Tidser was bang average.

Also someone near me at the match said after 5 minutes that they couldn't work out what formation we were playing and it looked like a 4-4-2.

These people actually spend their hard earned money watching this sport.

Good performance. Not sure where it came from but will take that. Dallas and Thompson probably the only two that never got pass marks.

Thomson played well and ultimately contributed more in 30 minutes than McHugh and Dallas had put together in 70/60. Took a bad touch wth pretty much his first which had people on his back straight away, but held the ball up well, competed well in the air, made an excellent run when he drew the save from the keeper which resulted in the corner we scored from and played a good ball through for Kiltie for the chance which should have made it 2-0.

We’re still a long way from turning the corner, but that was our best performance in weeks and if we can scramble another couple of wins like that in the next 10 wel’ll almost certaibly be safe.

In spells tonight, that was the most lively we've looked in a long time,

Why? Tidser was back... and at long last Millar and McAlister didn't feature together! They should never play in the same midfield together - one or the other.

Young Lyons had a very good game. He showed more energy and drive than McAlister/Millar have all season.

A deserved win.

It's a shame for Dallas as he clearly doesn't look to be the answer. There's talent in there and he'd be better suited to coming off the bench and feeling his way in to the division, but we are lacking so much in that area that he's been thrust in to our first team and expected to solve our goalscoring problems.

He's looking less and less likely to score with every game he plays at the moment.
