Interview with Houston up on YouTube. Really interesting interview but again thing I liked best was his opinion on the performance on Saturday. The management team are clearly not going to pull any punches when the team plays poorly, and they seem to have ideas on how to fix the issues from Saturday, in their heads at least.

Yes I said that on Saturday midfield was posted missing and they were running through us at will clearly the have identified it so hopefully a vast improvement on Saturday.

Outstanding interview in every respect. No jargon or recycled clichés, just honest and open answers.

Time will tell but I think we have made an excellent appointment.

Yeah thought exact same.

Hopefully we see a reaction and different formation on Saturday.

I really enjoyed that interview, TBH I didn’t have him down as an excellent coach like he talks I had him down as a screamer and the kinda guy who takes no prisoners but he talks a lot of sense.

The guy knows his stuff and he seems like an excellent motivator and man manager who can really push a player on... Encouraging

Houston comes across as very knowledgable, level headed and in the job for the right reason.

Very impressed. I have the impression he was a very voca and volatile character but very pleased with his appointment.

If he's half as vocal as Frank Connor was then he'll be just fine for us.

McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up.
Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control...

That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie.

Well we'll see

I really want this to work but I'm worried

We haven't even lost a game yet and the manager is rightly calling out performances for being pish anyway: there is no justifiable cause for knicker-wetting at this moment in time.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are
