Just watched some of the highlights on iplayer. What a bellend kettlewell is. Basically time wasting, holding onto the ball when his team is losing in the last minute , feckin idiot!!

Dont think Millar done anything wrong at all.

Really poor to watch, but can't complain too much when you pick up three points against the league leaders.

McHugh put in a good shift... and Buchanan won everything in the air. All worked really hard, so credit to the players and manager for that.

Our lack of pace in midfield continues to be a huge problem -  everything we do is so slow, just no zip about the midfield at all.

I've criticised the manager a lot but he got his tactics spot on this evening. I don't care how brutal it is to watch - his main priority right now is to get some results on the board and the way we played tonight was always going to give us the best chance of doing that. Playing the best team in the league - who ****ing horsed us 5-0 up there - isn't the night to showcase some sort of shan footballing philosophy.

Start showing some faith, Spargel. :)

Great result, terrible performance, tactics were absolutely laughable but **** it it worked. This team coukd legitimately get promoted whilst being universally panned as being a s***e squad. What a time to be alive.

What was laughable about it? We sat back in the first half and took the pressure from the form team in the league without giving them many chances and then came out in the second half and pressed well in good areas of the park and got a good goal.

As much as its not always great to watch, that's the tactics that win games.

McAlister for me still does a lot pointing, shouting and jockeying without actually getting involved that much. I do wonder if he drops out and we strengthen in there it might be the answer to the middle of the park.

He is definetly an asset to the squad overall though.

First half I thought he (and the midfield generally) were a yard off it, but second half he was crucial to our more intense pressing and kept his cool towards the end when in possession too.

Never going to like him are you?

I never particularly rated him in his first spell here and he's never a central midfield player in a million years. People make excuses for him after each game instead of just admitting he's like a man down. Compare and contrast with Millar who should be handed the captaincy immediately.

We sat so far off them in the 1st half it was ludicrous and we were lucky county weren't quite at it. The manager benching our best player was laughable, which he only remedied due to an injury. I personally hate the system and the kick rush philosophy was absolutely brutal to watch.

In fairness i was pretty drunk by the 2nd half though and by all accounts we played a bit better after the break.

I want a pretentious signature too.
