Ayrshireton, I haven't checked but was the 1-0 win v Clyde in 2008?
I thought it was 2009. Won league in 07, stayed up by skin of teeth 08 under Irons. Finished 6th or 7th in 09.
Just had a look.
2007-08 was the season we stayed up on the final day at Firhill.
2008-09 we started badly (and won at Hibs) and ended up 6th on goal difference (all the team from 5th - 8th had 47 points). Grady was signed in time for the Clyde game.
By 2009-10 Grady was the manager (and present at the 79 night). We stayed up on the final day, beating and relegating Ayr, putting Airdrie in the play-offs.

Probably the first time I'd seen a scarf thrown onto the park, just after we went 3-0 down with around half an hour to play. Disgraceful stuff - 4-2 flattered us. A fuse blew in the Cowshed lights during the first half, but the game went on regardless.

A game that few who were at it will forget. A very cleverly worked free-kick was enough to see off the league leaders and put us one point behind them. Celtic's first defeat of the season too.
Bobby Thomson is caught doing a "GIRFUY" to Murdo MacLeod after he skies the penalty, with Roy Baines telling him to ease off. There are full highlights on youtube too.

A heavy defeat with two sent off. Half of the clip concerns Andy Brownrigg demanding to see Mike Peden about not getting his wages.
1995 - Morton 4-0 St. Johnstone (Anderson, Hawke 3)
Hawke got his first hat-trick for Morton, the second a brilliant acute-angled looping header. McGraw said we eased off - we did nothing of the sort. The team fannied about for half an hour trying to get Derek McInnes a goal since it would likely be his last game at Scapa, before Hawke finished his hat trick late on.
