I yield to nobody in my dislike of Therangers and all that they stand for, but the individuals who play for them, especially at the level of these guys, are not the club.  If they are good enough then I'm happy to see them here.  Few of them will go on to be first team regulars at Ibrox, so they are a source of players for the likes of us in future years.  Mind you we have had some dross from them - Barry McKay for example was a good player but totally uninterested.

Barrie McKay was a good player, for both us and The Harry Dunn's. He has gone on to prove himself a decent player at English Championship level too since leaving them.

As much as I don't like Rangers or Celtic, they are the biggest and most successful teams in Scotland and they have the biggest squads of youth and reserve players in Scotland too. If having a cordial business relationship with them can help us in ways like this then it's no bad thing.

I have no love for Scottish football’s most popular tribute act either but, like you, welcome the signings

Nothing against the two boys in particular, but I’d prefer to cut off my nose to spite my face where Rangers are concerned.

This is a club who deliberately withheld CCTV footage of our fans being attacked inside their ground not long ago, why should we forgive and forget?

If it means we miss out on some decent loan signings then so be it, we look elsewhere, but I’d prefer to have no relations with them than cordial ones. If someone invited me into their house and proceeded to attack me I wouldn’t be seeking to go for a pint with them 3 years later.

It was, however inevitable when we appointed Johansson. Good luck to McCrorie and Dallas but I don’t like taking any favours off those c*nts.

Dallas I'm not fussed about since we need options but Gaston has been fine recently so if we drop him it's doing Rangers more favours than us by getting him game time.

How very small minded you are.

Not really the same thing though.

It was one or two out of 42,000 odd that threw stuff, not the same as knowing the guy who attacked you.

Did they actually withhold footage. I was at that game and did see the reaction to something happening which with hindsight was a bottle smashing. I didn't myself see a flying bottle. Our chairman's statement referring to golf balls being thrown probably didn't help. I've a healthy dislike for what the old firm have been in scottish football, bit didn't think they actively withheld cctv footage.

A bottle got thrown and hit the seat in front of me. It was complained about and the 'steward' put it in his pocket and nothing was heard about it again despite complaints from Morton fans.

Morton, so far as we know, were happy just to sweep it under the carpet as well - probably so as not to rule Crawford's golf pals. Not to take the blame off the guilty party here but Morton hardly held their feet to the fire.

So the daily record is linking Tidser with a move to Falkirk in the summer. The article says he wants to move this month but it might not happen due to poor relations between the clubs.

If the club let Tidser leave for fucking Falkirk then every single member of staff can fuck right off.

We could be going down the route of a Barry Ferguson/Paul Le Guen scenario here.

I’d say 80-90% of the support have now turned against Johansson, Tidser won’t re-sign under his management and Rae can’t afford to let him join them if he wants to shift season tickets.

We’re now getting to the stage that keeping the manager is going to cost the club more money than punting him would.

Letting our best player since Lindberg go would be absolutely criminal, especially there of all places. And hand the guy a testimonial.
