BishopBrennan
Good news. As I've mentioned previously in this thread he has a lot to work on defensively, but he is athletic enough and contributes well going forward. You address me by my proper title, you little bollocks! irnbru
Glad we've got some continuity too. Despite the poor season I think there's still the makings of a right good team there.

Jamie_M
Glad we've got some continuity too. Despite the poor season I think there's still the makings of a right good team there. Would rather go too far, more of a clean slate for a new manager. But the better few should definitely be signed up where possible. Noticed they've started #Together most of their stuff. Better than the 'one team, one dream, one Morton' they've been using. Shame they've already printed that on the new top.

Madton
Delighted Jack has signed on, was really impressed with him last season. Scored more goals in 13 games than Russell did in 3 seasons. I take it the board must have collectively decided he was worth signing without waiting for the new manager. I would imagine a good few of the players were offered terms by Duffy so will be interesting to see if anymore sign before the new manager comes in. Likewise there's bound to be a few who perhaps want to sign on but the board won't sanction it until the new manager arrives.

Mr.Blue
Happy with that. Murdoch, lamie, Harkins, Oliver and a fit Jai to follow please. The Bewilderedbeast
Jack Iredale has signed a one-year extension, updating OP accordingly. Pleased with that Yes, good start
Tubes
It’s a good start going forward and hopefully we see a few more sign on aswell. Murdoch, Lamie (doubtful), Jai, Oliver (I wonder if Duffy going impacts him?), Harkins, Gaston, Tiffoney & Strapp would be a good starting point for a new manager coming in. Im all for letting the new manager build his own team, but none of those players will let him down. I want a pretentious signature too.
vikingTON
Oliver needs to play behind a centre forward to be effective, while Harkins is 33 and a makeshift central midfielder. I'm not saying that they should be immediately binned with Duffy's tombola, but the new manager should have the option on those two players. There's not much point in committing resources to them if the new manager won't play a setup that has a role for them. The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

vikingTON
Yes, he's often been played in an advanced position on the park: at Dundee he was often playing behind the centre forward. A Sergio Busquets-type warhorse in the middle of the park he was and is not. TONofmemories
VT also thinks Kilday is a better defender than Oware though, so we can take the Harkins comments with a pinch of salt. TIME FOR CHANGE!
