Embarrassing that because we have 1 member of staff off sick( and presumably won't be back) - our social media, highlights, pre/post interviews etc come to a complete halt whereas little part time Alloa can produce match highlights of our home game within 12 hours, with commentary and different camera angles etc.

JJ will be feckin loving the fact he doesn't need to give interviews anymore!

McCrorie's punch is a shocker. It would have been a big miss if Alloa hadn't scored from that. Deciding to come for that, he has to deal with it properly.

The second goal is a decent move, but an example of the 'too many cooks' type of thing people have talked about at the back.

Heading on back page of today's telegraph:

"PLAYERS WERE HIDING"

it comes down to a mixture of ignorance, arrogance and indifference.

The guy's an absolute dick. Who the fuck does he think he is? And does he think everything would be OK if we were just scraping by with (apparently) dodgy penalties?

He keeps talking about being in the relegation mix as is if it's normal too. It isn't. We shouldn't be here yet he doesn't have a problem with it. He doesn't even have the good grace to pretend that he gives a fuck.

Crawford and Hawke can't be defended. They are as much to blame from a back office perspective. It was very evident to most that this guy just wasn't going to cut it.

The board and JJ can't be justified for there total inept management on all fronts.

Crawford needs to communicate more with the fans, he should actively be seeking fresh investment /buy out of the club and I would hope there is a clause in JJ's contract that finishing outwith the playoffs can lead to no fault dismissal.

That would be SUBLIME!

Do Crawford and Hawke think the fans are idiots and we would applaud furiously that JJ has produced SUBLIME football?

I genuinely don't see us getting a single point from our remaining fixtures after that.

We were coming off the back of 2 draws, so it's perfectly possible that we might pick up some more. There's a decent chance that Dunfermline won't have anything to play for when we play them, and Dundee Utd might rest players or play at a lower intensity before the playoffs. Before that ICT aren't too bad at draws and Falkirk aren't very good at winning matches. We could maybe pick up a couple of draws out of that.

Best bet is the battle of the s***ebags on 20th in Falkirk. It's also the one that provides the biggest fear.

Can't see anything other than us getting pumped and being relegated by the snake. It is the devastatingly fitting end to this season.

Falkirk are in no condition to 'pump' anyone so easy on the over exaggerated knicker wetting.

McKinnon is also setting his team up to be 'hard to beat', 'sneak one on the break', playing for draws.

It will be a game of 2 teams absolutely terrified to leave their own half.

I'd love to be an Alloa fan right now. So much energy, so much hunger. Predatory football, ready to take advantage of mistakes.

While I don't think the players covered themselves in glory last night, being (presumably) asked to sit in against Alloa for the third time was only going to end up one way. If not for our "penalty" we might have lost by two.

Most galling point for me was that Alloa’s part timers were at work yesterday before travelling to an away game where they came back from one down against a full time club and finished the match the stronger team. After that JJ surely can’t still have the board onside despite losing the dressing room and the fanbase!

There's many remarkably bad things about Johansson, but contriving to make the area of the team you claim to be focussing on such a disaster is pretty spectacular. It's astonishing just how badly it's went, the entire team has become so much worse collectively and individually since he came in. It's got even worse since January when he brought in his own "I'm fussy and don't rush in" Dream Team.

I've said this before, but I think it comes down to a mixture of ignorance, arrogance and indifference. From day one it was clear he was a dud and you could see the players weren't sure what they were meant to be doing leading to the hammerings against Ayr etc. Rather than acknowledge any sort of culpability in those results, Johansson clearly decided that it was everybody else's fault for not being good enough leading to the "everybody's just trying to survive" type comments and the preposterous "defensive changes" (which Houston apparently proposed) and all this rubbish about "hungrier" young players being better options.

It's never occurred to Johansson that the Championship is professional league full of teams who want to win and whose players are mostly better than the mediocrities that make up Rangers' youth team. His attitude to the job, the club and the league is an absolute disgrace and it speaks volumes about Rae and Hawke's own mentality that they've tolerated it and even think it has been "sublime".

It's a s***e state of affairs and it's clear now that there's no future for the club in any relevant sense unless there's a change of leadership and ownership.

Agree completely with this. Christ, I remember thinking Duffy was a bad one for talking us down. JJ is ten times worse. The BoD probably sees that as a positive, in fairness, as everything's a hard-luck story with them.

I just spent ten minutes looking up Jim Goodwin's after-match comments from the last few months. He acknowledges the challenges Alloa face but is relentlessly upbeat and positive, and - I think most importantly - always sounds like he has a plan, even when things go wrong (e.g. the late defeat against Dundee United.) And that plan is generally to go out and try to win games, given that they need(ed) three points and not one if they want to stay up.

For JJ it's the exact opposite. Negative, no real plan except 'err, try not to lose lads', talks everything and everyone down (unless they're East Fife, who've somehow morphed into 2006-07 Juventus, marooned in the alien environs of League One, far below their station) and is so contemptuous of both his own club and those around it that he thinks plodding around looking for the occasional draw is in any way good enough.

And I've also had more than enough of people saying 'he's a nice guy, but...' on Facebook and the like. Where's the evidence for this? Nice guys don't basically call everyone and everything s***e in a passive-aggressive way. They make the best of what they have and seek to encourage, rather than tear down.

Frankly he seems like a bit of a dick, probably why he and Warren get along so well.
