Arbroath v Morton

Well after the excitement of the internationals it's back to league business next Saturday.

Don't know a great deal about the Arbroath squad but they have equipped themselves well so far and possibly exceeded expectations.

Gone a bit off the boil recently and their fans had hoped to get back to winning ways v Clyde in the Tun Cup but slipped on a banana.

So can we get our first away win and kick on or is this going to be the season we only win league games at home. Expect the rest should have help with injuries so making the trip in expectation. Hope the wind is not blowing a gale.

Dick 'dick' Campbell's side are now on a run of four straight defeats, so it might just be the day for our plucky, Andorra-style underdogs to grab a point that we'll need to stay in this ferociously contested division. (© D. Hopkin)

Open top bus schedule for the Sunday tbc.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

Arbroath will look at it the exact same way, but this is must-win. Our away form is already a massive problem and really our overall form is dangerous as well. Fail to win this and it’s only one win in six, with Caley Thistle and Ayr in our next two games. We can hope the little people are back in their box and starting their post-McCall descent by then, but we need to stop the rot here before it becomes undeniable relegation form.

Looking forward to another seventeen, shrieking breakdowns on here between now and the inevitable, midtable finish yet again.

We won't get relegated, but we do need to sort out our away form and quickly. Arbroath will be looking at this as a win-able match and we need to show that we can cope with that. It's about time we recorded another clean sheet.

You address me by my proper title, you little bollocks!

I’d be delighted with us sneaking a 1-0 here. It’ll be a slog tho

A bunch of perennial, seaside league no-hopers called 'Clyde' sworded them 2-0 up there on Saturday; I'd obviously accept a narrow win right now but it'd take a far more convincing performance and result than that to be 'delighted' with The Famous' efforts.

Just reflecting on our progress towards the manager’s stated ambition for the season.

In true ton tradition all points towards an Arbroath win but fingers crossed for a miracle and a half decent goal keeping and defensive performance
