"Deliberately sat deep" "hit them on the counter" Alloa😂😂😂😂

That tactic may work against the likes of Ross County, but Alloa ffs.

Too simplistic.

As pointed out earlier in the thread, Alloa unbeaten in 5, scoring 2 a game with their fast counter.

Setting up to prevent that was not a bad tactic regardless of it being Alloa (not quite on the same embarrassing level as Duffy setting up to nullify Brechin last year).

Not envisaging them having a plan b, and having absolutely no plan b of your own? Dud.

He’s a dud. Think we’re stuck with him though.

The club can’t afford to view it that way; otherwise they’ve committed to pissing two years of their publicly stated three year plan down the drain due to one shan manager choice.

A ruthless club that is serious about its ambitions cuts its losses with this obvious dud ASAP. There is absolutely nothing to recommend him for the job.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

To lose to Alloa is a joke in itself but to go one up and lose and have the 'Manager' ramble on like an absolute bafoon makes it all the worse.

We built a feel good factory at the begining of the season and whilst a certain individual slithered off, the level of performance under this joker is nothing short of disgraceful.

If we take the horsing of Thistle out of it, how many games have we walked away from and thoguh 'we played some really good stuff today'.

Feel good factor is long gone, fans let down AGAIN and this clown is taking us no where.

I feel for Tidser and JJ should be out the door if it means keeping Tidser. He is a fantastic player and is being driven out by a total incompetent manager.

His annoying Wife can get tae also. More interested in  a team in Glasgow and now she can get a bit of publicity out of Morton she is milking it.

Did the Easdale’s own the land that the factory got built on?

Thistle & Dumbarton have at least overachieved in the last two decades.

Yep, in relative terms (and absolute in Thistle's case) both have performed much better than Morton.

Lets face it though, Morton are by far and away the worst performing full-time club in the country: if we're ever to make any progress the entire attitude and make-up of the club needs to change immediately.

What is your scale for this? Raith Rovers are languishing in League 1. Dunfermline enjoyed a spell there more recently than us. But if you mean over last 25 years then sure.

I hate to say it but we don't attract big crowds and we suffer from the OF exodous every weekend. Whilst the club needs to do a lot more on the park, it has improved in the community and hopefully less youngsters will flock to the ugly sisters - especially with Rangers dying. Then when it moves into new ownership, hopefully there is some investment to match new ambition. We have definitely underperformed no doubt, but hopefully there is a new direction around the corner as I think Crawford lost his enthusiasm (understandably) when his dad passed.
