LargsTON
There really wasn't though. Meanwhile, in 'player's finding their natural level' news, Gary Fraser netted the winner for Cowdenbeath against fellow basement strugglers Albion Rovers in front of 200-odd bumpkins last night. Let's not forget that Jim 'future Scotland manager' Duffy brought him in to spearhead our push for top flight football just eleven months ago. I can't even remember him. Malt
He scored one goal and looked like he wanted a square go with anyone who dare celebrate with him!Think I would rather have Duffy right now than the Failing Finn!

jimbobton
Wouldn't be surprised to see Miller ending up at a Championship team eventually, to be honest. Had his moments for us and never really fully established himself but there was enough about him to suggest he could go on to be a decent player. No there wasn’t He was gash
EanieMeany
He also smashed the ball into a beggar’s face at Celtic Park last season when playing for Partick, which is to his credit. What more can you ask for? I don't really have any specific memories of him tbh, I just remember him tending to be shuffled about a bit in the Duffy tombola and thinking he would have done well if he got a proper run as a defender. He was only 21 or something at the time as well, so hardly the finished article. Don't have any particularly strong feelings about it either, right enough, other than that him signing for a championship team and doing a decent job wouldn't be a surprise. Hej
Bachirou on the telly again. Looking back to 2010/11, mental to think we had him, Tidser and Allan Jenkins in midfield and spent the entire season in bottom half of the league

TopCat
Bachirou on the telly again. Looking back to 2010/11, mental to think we had him, Tidser and Allan Jenkins in midfield and spent the entire season in bottom half of the league Along with some truly terrible players - Kelbie, Smyth, Kean, Stewart etc. It's amazing how many times over the last ten years we've had squads like that; 3 or 4 good players and a load of dross. Toby
I'm sure Dunning will be along soon enough to put jimbobton back in his box like he did to Hashtag Gary on many an occasion.
Hej
Jenkins was an excellent player. Especially that season in particular. Like a Lidl version of Frank Lampard
GiGi
Jenkins was way overrated by some on this forum He was ok that's all nothing special No, he wasn't. Jenkins was a winner and teams won very often when he was in them. 1 Peter Weatherson is the greatest player since Ritchie, and should be assigned 'chairman for life'
port-ton
Bachirou seems so much more disciplined now than his time at Morton. Keep expecting him to go charging towards a player and he stays at a light jog and holds position. Amazing what actual coaching can do. Malmo fans seem to absolutely love him. Tubes
Jenkins was a brilliant player for us. Single handedly dragged the team through games at times, would kill for a player like him now.

Popular Post dunning1874
Morning all. Greenock Morton, First Division, Season 2008/09 Jenkins in the starting 11: P20, W11, D5, L4 Jenkins not in the starting 11: P16, W1, D6, L9 I’m sure that’s just a coincidence though and he definitely wasn’t carrying us by virtue of being the best midfielder at the club by a mile. 6 Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Brian Wake my Lord, Brian Wake Oh Lord, Brian Wake
