In addition to this being a brilliant result if we hold it, our goal difference has just become better than than others at the bottom thanks to other results. I hope we don't need it but it can't hurt.

Two Uniteds but the soul is one, as the Busby Babes carry on.

Win next week takes us into fifth. Easy.

Was looking at that - probably technically safe although Partick play a tired looking Ayr side midweek.

McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up.
Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control...

That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie.

...and then we can all wonder what all the fuss was about, announce JJ's contract extension and live happily ever after...

(I'm not being sarcastic)

If Partick win and the snakes lose on Saturday then that would be them down?

Not if Alloa and QoS lose too.Not 100% sure about that one though.

Check the Relegation Rumble thread on P&B - one of the numbers guys will work it all out.

Can see Thistle winning both Ayr games

Yep - Ayr look dead on their feet and are resting players for the play-offs.
