Does anyone watch this channel? Any good?

I just found out about it today and it looks interesting, free to air on Freeview, Freesat, BT and Sky; but sadly not on Virginmedia. It seems to have live Football from La Liga 2, Portuguese League, Serie A, League of Ireland as well as shows about AC Milan, Bayern Munich etc. Plus live NHL games.

Free-to-air Football is ace, and should be encouraged. If only to challenge Sky Sports dominance.

I have stumbled over it, but not really watched it for any length of time yet. Seems to be a lot of the Belgian League, too. I'll look forward to the League of Ireland season starting if they're showing that.

Is it anything to do with Premier Sports? Seems very much like the sort of stuff they showed. I subscribed to them the last two summers for the Copa America and Celtic and Aberdeen's European ties, but it wasn't really worth forking out for once the European preliminary rounds were out the way.

Apparently it's Premier Sports who operate this channel too. They're good for pre-season friendlies etc.

I've got Virginmedia which sadly doesn't carry this channel, however I get BTSports in my package which is decent.

My Built-in Freeview on my TV is pish and can't pick this channel up, so I'm considering a wee £20 freeview box just for this channel.

I quite enjoy the Irish and Northern Irish games. Quite fancy going to see some of the games over there to see what the atmosphere is like etc

I think their football culture would be similar to our own Championship & seaside leagues. If you remember Setanta from around 10-12 years ago, that was brilliant for coverage of the English Conference and things like The Johnstone Paints Trophy.

I reckon the SPFL should do some deal with a channel like this to give them Championship Games in conjunction with BBC Alba, help raise the profile of the game plus the standard of broadcast too.

The current live sports broadcaster of choice in The Norseman. Sad!

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are
