shagster
I think that he has now been sacked by 8 different clubs as manager and 9 times in total !! (Motherwell twice) . How many more chairmen will be fooled in to giving him a manager's job....
TaunTon
Great player struggles at managerial level, however there's always Clyde.

How many more chairmen will be fooled in to giving him a manager's job....He didn't get sacked at Reading or Leicester City. Also, he never got sacked in his first spell at Motherwell. Edit to add: Was just reading what he has done in his management career, and he won a Division Two Championship with Reading in 1993/4 season and with Millwall in 2000/1 season; and got Brighton promoted via the play-offs in 2003/4 season. Also, throughout his management career he has also taken Reading to the Championship playoffs in 1994/5 season and Wolves to the Championship playoffs in 1996/7 season. Overall, not the greatest management record in history but certainly not the worst either. If you were the chairman of an English gubbins outfit (Grimsby, Tranmere, Bury etc) looking for the next Mike Bassett to sail the ship for a couple of seasons, then he would be considered at very least. *insert signature here*
