I think its hard for us to try and work out exactly what his influence actually is as we don’t see what goes on at training etc. Buck stops with JJ at the end of the day and these stupid results have to be sorted as soon as. Could be that he's just doing fuck all, I suppose, but I found that comment from MacLean to be quite revealing, surprised more hasn't been made of it actually. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before.. So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. It was the BoD's who handed out a two year contract to an untried manager only weeks after the transfer window shut. Even now, this window has been open for almost a fortnight and the progress has been very poor. It's easy to say that our budget is gone but there are three millionaires sitting in the directors box most games and yet we still struggle to match even our part timer peers. Something has to change, and soon before the crowds begin to move away again. Revisionist nonsense. The reason why we ‘struggle to match even our part timer peers’ has got nothing to do with the board - at least directly. The first team squad has far more resources put into it than the likes of Alloa - which it obviously should. In the first meeting this season at Alloa, The Famous won 2-0 as expected. The clear reason why we are struggling against part time opponents now is that we appointed a novice manager who turned out to be an absolute fucking haddy. Perfectly straightforward stuff. No amount of wagon-circling or deflection about the board justifies TTGJ delivering absolutely dung results like this, nor consistently turgid displays to go along with it.
