What did lindsay do? Never noticed anything?

Lunged into a couple of challenges and rolled about crippled after Tidser done him, only to get up straight away and sprint into the box. County fans don’t seem to rate him.

County fans don’t seem to rate him.

Think they are a mixed bag about him. My County supporting mate and the guys he goes to games with didn't rate him at first but towards the end of relegation season and this season say he has been a real bonus for them. Certainly on P&B they seem to have bigger problems with Draper and Cowie than Lindsay.

We sat so far off them in the 1st half it was ludicrous and we were lucky county weren't quite at it. The manager benching our best player was laughable, which he only remedied due to an injury. I personally hate the system and the kick rush philosophy was absolutely brutal to watch.

In fairness i was pretty drunk by the 2nd half though and by all accounts we played a bit better after the break.

We weren't lucky. We sat in an stopped them creating any real chances. Calling it kick and rush, etc shows more of a limited knowledge of football than anything.

There's a big difference between calling tactics laughable and not enjoying the style.

Dont really see anything wrong what that, wants to win etc, don't thnk he showed us any disrespect or anything last night.

I'm sure he appreciates his time at Morton. I know a friend of his and he loved it when he was here!

Win against top of the league, but it was a “shambles”

Soak up the pressure and get them on the break = more shots and more shots on target. Not a bad tactic against the team top of the league when we're on the back of a poorish run and picked up some injuries.

Was there last night and watched again this morning. Chris Miller was immense throughout, for the oldest player in the team he put in a fantastic shift and is So competitive.

No real failures and the defence kept their shape well and stayed on their feet not diving in to challenges.

Tiffoney going off actually did us a favour because although he did offer an out ball option he is still poor at tracking back. Also Tidser should be the first name on the team sheet each week.

Their top player by some distance was Gardyne and he was the only one who really threatened.

Lovely now to have a Saturday afternoon when we can just relax and watch the other scores coming in.

A pretty grim game of football to watch but making it a s**tfest was crucial to getting anything and that's an excellent result. For all County's possession they created very little and our hoof into the channel for Tiffoney/Telfer to chase tactic being largely ineffective is irrelevant if we're capable of taking the chance from a set piece when we get one. That's the first time the whole defence have had good games in a long time and Johansson deserves the praise for the s**tfest working. Tidser should absolutely be starting every time he's available though, as he showed when he came on. if we're playing that system then it has to be McAlister or Telfer missing out.

I have no idea how we're fourth in this league after the last couple of months but I'll take it. If we can build on this rather than slipping right back into a winless run like we did the last time we had two consecutive wins followed by Alloa then we could actually be looking at a positive second half of the season and could dismiss those winless runs as Johansson finding his feet; huge month coming up for him.

More than a bit revisionist to say the first half was anything other than a horrendously disjointed, incoherent mess to be honest. If they had went in a couple of goals up there couldn't really have been any complaints.

County certainly created better chances in the first half but only one or two were clear cut at all. We weren’t carved open at any point. An ‘incoherent mess’ by contrast would be the 5-0 defeat up there not too long ago.

Too many people were simply venting their resentment about the manager and the season as a whole last night instead of viewing the match as a single event against stronger opposition. Hence the mass toys out of the pram about ‘sitting back at home’, ‘kick and rush’ and other such nonsense.

The next test will come when we need to play in a more assertive way against weaker opposition.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

Totally agree.

They had plenty of the ball in our half in the first half but did not create much.

We were the better team in the second half.

The tactic will not work against Alloa though.

Thought we were passive in the first half but we also had decent discipline about us, which for all their possession limited them to few scoring opportunities.

Definitely not criticising JJ after last night as the way we played was definitely the only way we were going to get a result, but I do think it's a bit of a reach to say he got his tactics spot on as we play the exact same way whether we are playing top of the league or bottom of the league.

It worked well last night but it's not like he worked on it all week purposely for this game, it's just how this team plays.

More than once tried to leave something on an opponent. Sarcastically clapped to the main stand when we ironically cheered a free kick finally being awarded for his repeated fouls. Looked to be mouthing off to our players at points.

Not at all like I remember him with us.

Didn't realise he sarcastically clapped after ironic cheering. I'm not having that.

All last night reminded me was that there was a time recently where we had Jamie Lindsay and Andy Murdoch in our midfield and I would suck a barrel of dicks to have those days back.
