It was not what you specifically said but anyway as you were not there let me help you Tidser was not the defensive midfielder and had plenty of opportunity to go forward but did not take the initiative.

Teller played well and his off the ball was as good as I have seen from him..put in a shift which was a positive.

Ever since the snake left, Tidser has dropped deeper and deeper. Fact

Just because somebody isn't the designated holding midfielder doesn't mean they're not playing deep. If the defensive line is deep then so is the midfield and the forward(s) become isolated: the whole team needs to move forward to allow the creative players get into dangerous areas.

You don't need to have been at the game today to know that's the case. We saw it on Friday, but it's basic football.

No wonder. He'll know fine well he's not being used effectively. Dropped last week and hooked today... Only one person at fault for that

Would be amazed if he signs a new deal unless there's a change in the dugout before the end of the season. In Tidser and Millar we have arguably the best two midfielders (if not players) in the league and we've got a manager who's actively opting to nullify them.

There's no defence for that at all.

Few weeks back (one of the home games) Millar looked genuinely perplexed at some of the tactical decisions and subs made by JJ. How to inspire confidence

If JJ is still here for next season (looking likely) I can’t blame Tidser for looking elsewhere, especially the Premiership.

Tidser’s been back for 4 years, in which he’s rarely looked like the player he was in 2012/13.

Much as I like him, and want him to stay, I don’t think he’d be the huge loss some are making out.

JJ is the easy target here. It was the BoD's who handed out a two year contract to an untried manager only weeks after the transfer window shut. Even now, this window has been open for almost a fortnight and the progress has been very poor.

It's easy to say that our budget is gone but there are three millionaires sitting in the directors box most games and yet we still struggle to match even our part timer peers. Something has to change, and soon before the crowds begin to move away again.

Is that not the point though?

Neither Tidser or Millar would be a huge loss, but played properly and they should, and would be.
