Morton vs Partick

Against Alloa, Partick lined up in a 3-4-3 type system and were shite, Alloa bossed them in the first half and it was an even second half. They changed to a back four and had a decent first half performance against Dundee United (in particular I was impressed with Penrice managing to keep McMullan quiet), however United started overloading wide areas in the second half and turned it round with two goals coming from deliveries from wide areas. If we can get our full backs up to support and overload their full-backs we should get decent service into McHugh and get a few goals.

It's hard to tell from the highlights, but it looks like they went with a 4-4-1-1 against Ross County on Saturday. We will need to be careful of Kenny Miller's movement, who has been playing in the number 10 role behind the main striker. If we continue to play a high line then we should hopefully reduce the amount of space he has (especially in defensive transitions). From what I've seen so far Penrice has a good left footed delivery and Steven Saunders seems to be their main target at set pieces. I'm sure Tam 'Hunners of Premiership clubs want to sign me' O'Ware will fancy a goal if he gets into the team this week too.

Let's get these penniless peasants scudded.

You address me by my proper title, you little bollocks!

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

They are a rabble with ideas above their station.

Hound.

Lots of social media today of us using our team bus for a home game. Maybe do a drive by of their team walking down from Cartsdyke, or getting out of Taxis or whatever route they are taking today.

I might have picked it up wrong, but is the Gleddoch not laying on the pre-match meal these days? There seems to be some sort of partnership going on, but it'd make sense to run a bus from there if so.

Yes. The team go to Gleddoch for a free feed before every game so bus there and back.

It's ok, the Partick team can grab a Burger King at Central station or get their taxi to stop at Tesco on the way in.
