Greenock Morton Football Club have been made aware of the findings of a Scottish FA inquiry into alleged gambling on football matches involving one of the Club’s employees. We as a Club support and uphold the values of integrity in the game and have worked closely with the Scottish FA to educate our staff to respect and adhere to policies governing gambling on football.

We have supported, and shall continue to support, the Scottish FA, in ensuring accountability from any individual who breaches these rules.  We have a strict policy on football gambling at the Club.

The issues raised by the Scottish FA in its findings are currently the subject of an internal investigation and as such it would be inappropriate for us as a Club to comment further at this time.

Heard Dylan Dykes had a bet on that he could have the lowest rolled socks.

In all seriousness, would anybody be surprised if this turned out to be about the 10-2 game? And if it is, we'd deserve to be absolutely hammered for it.

Didn't realise Paul Hartley posted on here.

You address me by my proper title, you little bollocks!

Surprised to see a Dundee fan on the forum.

While historical investigations of gambling exist, the notion that this kind of thing is going to relate to one single game from 5 years ago is risible and yes, would be very surprising.

That game happened because a team who were already terrible downed tools, and crucially the opposition needed to keep scoring so didn’t settle into first gear and stop scoring at will once they had a comfortable lead the way Dundee United, Caley Thistle, Ayr & Motherwell already have against us this season.

Besides, if it was a player you’d imagine they’d have said so.

It's not a player. It's also not confidential as it's listed on the SFA website as mentioned above.

Yeah. Just to be clear for anyone who hasn't looked yet:
