TRVMP
Don't buy that. There must be more to it. Fair enough, trust the vague insinuations of an unimpressive witness rather than the undisputed facts.

TRVMP
How anyone can say Morton are at fault is beyond me. The only possible complaint anyone can have is giving him just a one-year deal without compensation beyond the minimum written into it. But given that JJ was given a two-year deal and has started terribly, that's a hindsight call at best. In terms of Ray's departure, and the recriminations after, Morton did nothing wrong and an awful lot right.

So perhaps Morton wanted the specific contract clause but the snake wanted it out before signing.
TRVMP
Doesn't the verdict statement say "compensation wasn't sought" or similar? The club one seems to suggest they felt it should have been addressed. The rule breaches reported by Morton and just ruled upon by the league are separate from club-to-club compensation claims. TRVMP
There's the bit from Margaret Lang to Crawford ' Margaret Lang had indicated to him that she understood the compensation clause had*been removed from his contract'. So perhaps Morton wanted the specific contract clause but the snake wanted it out before signing. Which would tie in with Raymond's seeming misapprehension that the club "wouldn't stand in his way." I know we're a bit tinpot but did he really think the absence of a release clause meant we'd be tearfully waving him off at Cartsdyke to a divisional rival? shagster
60k a year for someone without a job for 8 months and who made a right roaring James Hunt of his previous job wants to leaves after less than 90 days in his new position despite being backed to the hilt by his chairman. Greedy , greedy bastard. Has a flat in Glasgow too , so no great commute either. Hope all chairmen/women read the tribunal findings and consider his actions when he gets punted by Falkirk.
