It is the worst kept secret he is going to Falkirk and that they wanted him in january.

Good luck to him. A great player who we have pissed off, played out of position and benched. We should have pulled out all the stops to keep him.

A magnificent fuck by all involved managing to get one of the few footballers who actually love playing for Morton to leave.

Yeah, I too am prepared to believe that this is the case and brand a guy who has been a fantastic servant for the last decade a **** on the basis of a guy who’s never posted on here appearing to tell us he’s pissing off.

He can ram his fantastic service up his hoop when he’s pictured holding a falkirk scarf above his head with the snake.

I'm hearing the club will release a statement stating Michael Tidser has agreed to join Falkirk on a pre-season deal.

Unlikely tonight but probably within the next 48/72 hours.

Stopped believing you when you said our board was going to release a statement.

Good people will do good things, bad people will do bad things, but only with religion do good people do bad things!

You said he can f*ck off now, on the back of a titbit from a dubious source, not when he’s pictured holding a Falkirk scarf above his head.

Which one is it?

We have a manager who misuses him catastrophically and by the managers account a board who have asked him to cut the playing budget and get rid of the older players.

As one of the highest earners thanks to dougie's love for him and as one of the older players in the squad I'm not convinced there was ever a new contract with us on the table for him anyway.

I'd prefer it wasn't Falkirk he went to if he does go to them, but he will be way down the pecking order on who's to blame for that in my eyes.

Couldn't agree more.

It is most definitely Morton's place to announce the news of a Falkirk signing.

A magnificent **** by all involved managing to get one of the few footballers who actually love playing for Morton to leave.

Speaking hypothetically but if Tidser or anyone else in the squad chose to join that viper’s nest then they’d be confirming zero love of ‘playing for Morton’.

Anyone who opts for that vile club is a Judas, plain and simple. There are plenty of other suitors in Scottish football who are neither managed by a total clown nor a total King Snake. It’s quite straightforward to make a dignified exit from this club.

The site is supposed to be a place for the extended 'family' of Morton supporters - having an affinity with people that you don't know, because you share a love of your local football club. It's not supposed to be about point scoring and showing how 'clever' or 'funny' you are, or just being downright rude and offensive to people you don't know, because you can get away with it. Unfortunately, it seems the classic case of people who have little standing/presence in real life, use this forum as a way of making themselves feel as if they are something. It's sad, and I've said that before..

So, having been on Morton forums for about 15 years I guess, I've had enough... well done t*ssers, another Morton supporter driven away. You can all feel happy at how 'clever' you are

Aye, but until such time as he does, hunting a guy who has been as much a victim of Johansson’s stupidity as us isn’t the way to go about it.

If that rancid wee club announce any of our players on pre-contracts, fair enough, it’s open season. Not at the point some fanny creates an account to reel in the likes of “hoodless”, who should really be paying more attention to his turkey dinosaurs than that sort of pish on a Saturday night.

I said I was speaking hypothetically though and I don’t limit that analysis to Tidser in the current squad. Anyone who claims that they love playing for this club ought to be aware that King Snake’s knot is out of their immediate career choices as a consequence. Those are mutually exclusive points.

Footballers know that whatever went on with the Falkirk board and Mckinnon happens all the time in football. Couple that with the fact Tidser was playing some of his best football ever under Mckinnon then I hardly think Tidser is sitting at home right now prodding a Margaret Lang voodoo doll with pins because he cares so much about Morton.

Falkirk is just as viable option for him as any other good offer he gets. What is clear though is those good offers clearly don't look like extending to Morton.

Shifting Dallas to wide right when O’Connell was there is an odd choice for me.

Was pretty disappointed at Kiltie, who seemed disinterested for much of the game. He doesn’t seem to have much in the way of pace either. Perhaps he needs to get some fitness/sharpness back in that respect.

Despite whatever formation they were supposed to be playing, the players did put in a shift - some more effectively than others. I thought McAlister played fairly well breaking up their play. Our passing overall, was poor.

A decent manager would be able to get a lot more out of those players.

McGhee needs some support, there's no-one backing him up.
Hayes playing it forward, Bell being forced to do it all alone, now forward from Marr, here's Ritchie, still Andy Ritchie, look at the control...

That is a marvellous goal from Andy Ritchie. Twenty minutes on the clock and Morton's supporters come alive. A goal which epitomises the control, the arrogance, the cheek of Andy Ritchie.

Wasn’t great. Better than we were against Dunfermline, but wouldn’t be difficult. Echoing a lot of what’s already been said by praising McCrorie, he’s been solid, O’Connell gave us something different off the bench too and he should be starting the next game.

Ayr were very poor for being top of the league, and can’t help but look at it as another wasted opportunity to get 3 points.
